Valve index headset audio vs deluxe audio strap for OG vive

I had issues with my deluxe audio strap built in headphones. The right side wouldn't stay flush with the ear so it was basically useless. I ended up removing them and using a wireless headset instead. Are the index headphones in similar design where you're supposed to click them inwards?

Nope, the Index headphones... which aren't headphones but head speakers, do not rest on your ears. They're positioned at a distance from your ear, to make for the most open headphones ever! 😅 I think they work really well though, it is kind of magic really how natural the audio sounds.
