Copying and pasting text/links in SteamVR?

Is there any way to copy and paste text and links in SteamVR, when viewing your desktop for example? Binding a keyboard key combination (ctrl+c/v) or the right mouse button to one of the knuckle's inputs would work I think, but there's no way to do that without external applications.

yeah, I use my mouse and keyboard for that in VR. It would be nice to have the ability to copy and paste with wands.

I was made aware that pressing the trackpad on the knuckles with a bit of force until you feel a haptic pulse will act as a right click. This means that you can copy links and text by either double clicking it with your trigger, or by highlighting it by holding down the trigger and moving your controller over the text, and then pressing the trackpad to bring up the contextual menu to copy whatever you have highlighted.
