Boosting Sound with Equalizer APO

Hello,

does anybody tried to improve the Sound with Equalizer APO?
It´s a systemwide Equalizer application for Windows Vista up to Windows 10.

I tried it yesterday evening but i`m quite lost in the functionality.

First impressions are good though but i`m far from optimal results so if anybody knows what to do or how one came to good results, please feel free to post your settings ;)

I turned off sound equallization on the sound properties of the index in windows 10 sound properties. Thanks for this link. Now I can specify this app to only force index to do what I want. I added eq, preamp, loudness correction so i dont blow my ears off between soft games and loud games.

At least for me I always have to install the apo equalizer for the index (which requires a reboot), but after rebooting it says I have to install it again, so it's not working.
