Why even post such a stupid reply?
I have the valve index, and used to have the Vive, and I do a lot of workouts in VR, and have never had a fog up issue.
I have an index, I wasn't aware you could post questions about other VR headsets here...
The gasket material is contacting my face everywhere except a slight gap around my nose, however closing off this gap using a paper towel didn't fix the problem, nor does using my hand to force the headset to sit lower.
I have had a rift S and it never fogged up on me either. To be honest, it was a better headset than the index in every way if the damn thing had worked :D.
On the Index, I and many members of our steam group get ZERO fog. Since closing off the face gasket near your nose didn't help you...

The tracking was perfect after that massive update they had a while ago to fix the firmware. What the problem was is that the headset would just completely disconnect after 20m to 1h of gameplay. It's a problem that no one including Oculus's support seems to know the reason for. Speculation I have seen and seems most reasonable to me is that even though the requirements just say USB 3.0 some 3.0 ports can't deliver enough voltage so when it goes undervoltage the headset freezes up and then the GPU thinks it's been disconnected.
I couldn't be bothered building another PC and potentially ending up with the exact same problem at the end of it so just got an index. If it wasn't for that problem the Rift would have been better. Index comes with an actual power brick rather than feeding from the USB which is why I got it.
Index's image is far less clear for me visually, field of view is smaller and the sweet spot is incredibly tiny. Admittedly I don't know how the sound compares as I never bothered with the Rift's sound, just used my headphones. The index does have surprisingly good sound at least.
I'll look up that section.
Having looked it up, I have tried all of those except dehumidifying the room as I don't have an AC unit/dehumidifier. I wonder if that would help, but can barely be bothered to spend yet more money on this waste of time :D. I live in the North of England and, assuming the weather thing on my phone is accurate, it's 100% humidity here 110% of the time so this might be the cause...
Ouch. That's crazy high humidity. That's they the JoinUsInVR thread above says to use AC and dehumidifiers.
If you reply there, others from the group that live in the UK might have other ideas for you to try.
