"Distance between lenses" keeps popping up on the Index

The lens adjust popup keeps popping up when I move quickly, which is pretty damn annoying since the frenetic games are the one where you least want to have your vision occluded. On the Vive you could go edit idpvalue.css file in the SteamVR folder and change the opacity to 0.0, completely hiding it, but after a recent update of the SteamVR betam, this no longer works for the Index. Anyone know how to fix the problem now?

Well that suck, this is where Steam directed me. In the Steam client I went to Steam Support->Steam Hardware->SteamVR->Valve Index->Valve Index Headset->Visit the Community Forums and this is the forum it put me on. If I repeat the steps I end up in the same place.

I'm having this same problem and its sooooo annoying, how did they think putting a pop up in your face for 95% of gameplay in active games was smart? I used to be able to edit an ini file and just remove the pop up entirely, cause honestly, who needs it in the first place? But since its updated, I cant find the ini file.
