Just started to play, I realized there's no difficulty level to chose from, is that something that will be implement later?

I recently purchased Ritual: Crown of Horns and am eager to play it. Unfortunately, my gamepad isn't working in the game. I can move up and down, but all other buttons, A/Y/X/B/Triggers/Bumpers etc, do nothing. This gamepad has always worked perfectly in every other game. Has anyone else had a similar issue? I have tried all the basic trouble shooting like rebooting, unplugging/re-plugging controller, etc....

1) In dialogs with traders I want to “click” with a spacebar. My right hand holds the mouse, the left - on the WASD and the space bar. Intuitively I try to press the spacebar. Uncomfortable reaching for the Enter key. So, it will be convenient to make a “click” using Spacebar or Enter. 2) Give players the ability to adjust the volume during the game. I'm an avid steam user but picked this game up on Switch for portability (love the arcade style!) I have however encountered a gamebreaking bug - upon dealing any damage whatsoever to the circular saw boss the game crashes to home, and it is 100% repeatable. Please help D=...
