Becoming consul

How do I become consul? I just made a run and had about 85 int and 82 char in the end of the game....

Saving 2 romans can get you to senator(1v5 earlygame and killing professional enemy in 15 turns before his other pal slaughter your wounded friend you are trying to save) so for more you probably would need to defeat phalanx.

I guess you became a praetor? You were very close.

You have to win at least one Civic Crown. Your INT will suffice, but you need more CHA; as much as your INT.

I won 3 civic crowns... Do I need the grass crown? Also 85 on both char and int is pretty hardcore...

No, the Grass Crown is not necessary to become consul.

Even with charisma close to 90 the rank still dodges me :(

Charisma alone won't be enough. Your Intellect must be at least 85 too (and of course you need one Civic Crown).

Did you become praetor? Consider that there is no randomness involved in the epilogue, just minimum requirements.

INT/CHA 78 is the requirement to become a *praetor*, as asked by Sola Gratia and quoted in my reply.
The requirement for consul is under spoilers a few posts above: 80+ isn't enough.

I just checked and I had all the reqs beat just fine, but my CHA ended up at 84, not 85 by the end of the game. What a travesty
Guess I'll just have to spin up another run, won't I
