Geonosis on hard. How?
Playing through the campaign, and hit a brick wall in this map. I have tried it like a dozen times with different tactics. My useless teammates just keep dieing faster than i can kill the enemies.

1) I have tried focusing on killing the enemies and have collected well over a hundred kills. They still won.
2) I tried capturing all the capture points. Managed to capture all the points and the enemies where only spawning at the ships. My team still managed to die first.
3) Tried destroying the enemy ships first. While i was doing that, my teamates died in such amounts, that the enemies had like twice as much lives remaining than my team.

I have tried fighting on foot, in the gunship, in that big walking vehicle, nothing hecking works.

Anyone has a good repeatable method with a good sucsess rate?

What difficulty are you playing? **EDIT** just noticed you said in the title, hard is a ♥♥♥♥♥ because you get constantly sniped and grenaded. You should still win with the gunship method fairly easily.

No matter what option I go, I always target droidekas when I see them as they do the most damage to your unit count. And only kill geonosians to pad up your kill count, if you're getting down to the wire then ignore geonosians completely unless it's in self defence.

Gunship is the easiest, at best I've done 220+ kills, at worst just under a 100 with a few deaths from the AI flying into me. You immediately fly up left and gun down all droids/geonosians as they come down from the techno union ships. Then mix it up by flying between the 2 main battles: start with the techno union ships where they spawn to protect your AT-TE's, and the front of the spire to prevent capture of the crashed ship. You only need 1 shot per unit so aim at the ground next to their feet (can sometimes sneak in 3-4 in a single shot), occasional missile use and fly side to side to avoid rockets.

Medium difficulty being on foot, you can either hitch a ride to the spire on a AT-TE or run and gun. Basically you will want to capture the spire for the high ground, the bunkers are always in a state of being taken/not taken. But just rack up the kills from the bunker battles on either side and you should win, you might get close to the wire where it's only you vs up to 10 droids.

AT-TE was hardest because you're slow and tend to cop a lot of rockets. Go pilot so you can repair, or if you feel cheeky go infantry/jetpack so you can fight on if your AT-TE is taken out. Similar style to the gunship, go left and clear out advancing droids. Then you stand still to allow capture of a bunker and the spire. Then proceed and stand still a little further away than the spawn point of the techno union ships, and fire on the droids as they spawn.

The gunship is the main strat i use ngl. If you can avoid the heavy battledroids and fighters, youll be able to win. First, escort your at-tes to the forward bunkers. If they droidekas are starting to poor in from the left, focus them first. If you can manage to take them out, the spider droids are the biggest issue after that. It should be easier after that, just escort and defend your clones to the firing positions. I hope this helps

Thanks that helped. Was very close but still won.

This is easy. Immediately destroy the techno unions using an ATTE and after that make sure to hold the enemy to at most 2 cps. If that condition is met then the CIS reinforcements will drain until you win.

Here's a (small?) challenge for you: Try to beat the map with 0 kills and 0 deaths using this approach.

ARe you sure you are talking about hard dificulty? Destroying the techno unions is easy sure, but keeping the the droids away from the capture points is the hard part. The teammates cant hold one at all. While you defend one point, some dekas roll into 2 another and just captures them, while your teammates stand around scratchign their asses like special needs people.

Yes I was talking about hard, but after trying it once and failing I agree it is difficult. My advice above may not even be good advice.

Here's how I did it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8drep4l3tA

PS I've beaten every level with every side on Hard so check out my channel for additional help! Thanks.

I'm late to the party but I'll say as someone replaying the game on PS2 recently, I feel you so much I've been stuck at it for an hour with a K/D in the areas of 80/0 to 110/3 and still the enemy keeps winning by lowest, 70, and max, 140 remaining lives. It is insane and I have no clue why such an old game expects players, even on hard, to CARRY an entire warzone battle. You are 1 guy you can't be everywhere.

This video no longer exists, or at least the link on steam no longer works.
I can't help but feel when playing on Hard mode, the AI of whatever side you're going against just ratchets up whereas your own side doesn't change all that much. Doesn't matter if you're playing the Clones, the Droids, ect. I got steamrolled as the clones twice on one map, decided to switch the droids, and then got steamrolled a third time.

Granted, I've been playing with the Anniversary mod, so maybe that changed things a bit.
