Can I play this game with friends?

I know there is the option for online multiplayer but that opens a game up for the public. What if I want to play Galactic conquest with my brother? Is there a way I can invite him to a private game?

GC mode cannot be played online and there is no mods to do that, but you can still play the normal game mode (selecting a map from the list and starting the session)

Galactic conquest was only split screen on consoles unfortunately. You can still play all the maps online though.

If you add a password to the game you set up, then no one else can join you unless they know the password which they won't ^^
