Oh ♥♥♥♥, is this right? As if Hard mode isn't unfair enough. You got any tips for Yavin: Temple on Clone Wars? I can never beat that map unless I steal an AAT from the droids.
But back on topic. One of the reasons why the game was easier on the PS2 was because of the aim-assist. You barely had to do anything. It almost auto-locks unto an enemy once you're in range. It helped level the playing field because the AI on Hard have some seriously good aim, and strafe too erratically.
They are harder than I remember from console, but it has been a long time since I played on ps2.
Yavin Temple I have better luck working along the flanks than going through the middle.
