The Game doesn't work

Hi. When I launch the game appears the square of the application on the bar, a second of black screen and fnally the game crashes. I tried to turn discord, antivirus and other overlays off, but nothing changes.

My OS is W10. I also tried to change the exe compatibilty, setting W8, but it's still crashing. Researching on this section, I found some topic like this mine, of people that have the same silly problem.

Plase, could anyone help us?

I'm glad to see that the "extremely difficult" of Kashyyyk campaign level is more important and popular than this thread to the community. I got to remember again I'm still waiting for a solution to my issue.

I don't want to give up, because I paied to play and, clearly, I want to play. So I'm going to add TheCruzier (a game developer / the chief of the developers, idk) on Steam friends, to ask him how to fix this problem. To be honest I don't expect he'll accept it, but I wanna try anyway.

Good luck with that. They've shown little to no interest in being involved in the community here that I can tell. I would love to be proven wrong.

I'm very happy to say that a SOLUTION has been found! (for me at least)

You can download it here http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=14127.msg124013#msg124013 . The solutions seems to be a downgrade of the game to the 1.2 version. The installation is very simple: you just have to copy and paste the files in the rar into the Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront (Classic 2004)\GameData folder.

Just a reminder, this will break any online compatibility with Steam/GOG servers. This is the old 1.2 patch.
