Differences with the PS2 version ?
I really loved the first Battlefront on PS2. I think I enjoyed it even more than the second one (which I loved). I wonder if I maange to configure the gamepad, I have a chance to enjoy the same experience on this Steam version ? What's different and what's the same ?

Thank you and please apologize my english

As far as I can tell it's the same, I too used to play the PS2 version.

PS2/Xbox version has native widescreen support and local splitscreen multiplayer, not sure if the latter is a thing in the PC version cuz I've never played it myself.

I think PC can support up to 32 players unlike the PS2 version which can only support 16

There were some minor balancing changes to the units and better netcode between 1.0 (PS2, XBOX, PC original) and 1.2 (Steam version and last stable patch). Other than that, they are almost exactly the same.

I remember seeing somewhere that the PC version also had a 1.3 patch too.

It was a beta. It fixed some more things (especially netcode and some animation bugs), but there's some stuff that just isn't stable, and it never got past beta.
The units, maps, and basic gameplay are the same though - it was just an exe update to 1.2

I just want to thank the guy who published a PS2 configuration gamepad on Steam. Awesome job. Lot of fun thanks to you.

More units on the battlefield and better graphics are the main differences.

I believe there are some minor graphical changes as well (off the top of my head, the AT-AT model is different, and the Stormtrooper uses a different pistol model).

Oh, and Naboo: Plains had an X-Wing/Jedi Starfighter while the PC version doesn't.

I think the number of mines that heavy units carry was also changed.(For Battlefront 2 it did . Not sure about this one)
