Controller Support?
It isn´t mentioned on the steam page. Has anyone tried it out and does it work?

I think it has worked for some people but not others. Some things to keep in mind are

1. You will have to have your controller connected to the game prior to starting the game

2. You will have to manually assign all controls in settings menu

It does indeed have controller support.

they dont auto assign tho .. so this can make it harder for some people .. i found i had too start a game then constantly set the controls differently untill i got them right ..
took a while but good now
altho one more thing the sensitivity for the controller does not go really high so still feels slow

This release of the game does not recognize my Logitech game pads while my PC DVD-ROM version still does.

Which controllers are working and which are not?

Had to program all the inputs in SWBFIII under controller options in game, but it works great in that game. So hopefully this one will be the same. Can even use a PS4 controller with bluetooth without reconfiguring anything in battlefront 2.

My 360 controller works well even if the sensitivity is a bit low. One thing unique to SWBF1 (as opposed to SWBF2) is that you get auto aim for single player if you're using a controller.

Do you have Xbox One controller? I would like to have auto aim in single player and multiplayer. I don't get it with Xbox One controller.

i bought this game just because in case i wanted to play multiplayer, which this is the version i play on linux but the controller support is literally not there. its impossible to map controls when using this game on linux. but the actual game i have on my windows install and i can map controls easily
