1) 'The Painscreek Killings' - you play as a journalist trying to solve old murder case. There's a lot of running around, looking for clues (like journals, old newspapers and documents etc). It's not a horror game, but there are few jumpscares and the atmosphere can be really creepy sometimes.
2) 'Layers of Fear'* - it's an actual horror, so not sure if you'll be interested. It's not scary (sadly), but just creepy and weird (in a positive way), so I still think you should still check it out. Just quick look at some YouTube gameplays from 1st chapter of the game should give clear answer if it's for you.
3) 'The Vanishing of Ethan Carter' - fantastic walking sim with very interesting (and, by the way, very dark) story, but horror elements are very limited (it's basically just one horrorish location/level). Definitely worth checking out.
4) 'Kholat' - a walking sim about Dyatlov Pass incident with a lot of horror elements. Atmosphere is incredibly creepy and since you can be killed by something (don't want to spoil anything), there's also a constant feeling of danger which is really cool.
*I'm talking about 2016 version, just to clarify. Remake it's just not worth it.
EDIT:
There's also 'Town of Light' which is in my opinion absolutely amazing game, but the problem is, there are no horror elements whatsoever in it. On the other hand, the overall 'theme' of the game is incredibly dark and heavy, so I don't know. It's still worth mentioning, though.
Soma
Chasing Static
Paradise Lost
The Backrooms - Lost Tape
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
Titan Station (not much horror)
INFRA (many puzzles and not much horror but great game)

one example : try the game 'KONA'

there's a quite big list there but when I think of my steam library this less ppular one perhaps fits best with the "a walking simulator with a bit horror elements" theme:

Layers of Fear is certainly good too but a lot more Horror-heavy. I played the 2016 version, not the current 2023 one (yet) but I can't imagine that it's dramatically different

But TLD, although some alien or supernatural component, is completely about natural enough forces which are in a way alien/supernatural to us, but really to me was a pure survival game. TLD is frustrating in the cave and bear puzzle though.
