Games like this
I have to say absolutely love the atmosphere of this game. Are there any more like this? other than the obvious, being Firewatch. I'm just looking for a game with an almost liminal space feeling to it, that's cozy and isolated like this one.

Have been hopeing to delay sharing this, but I have set a group and a list up for games with similar content/topic and to a lesser extent similar mechanics to The suicide of Rachel Foster.

If you hurry Echelon, you could be the first person to join https://steamcommunity.com/groups/EmpathyGames . So far all it has, is a cool group icon and a long list of games.

Check out Gone Home, Tacoma, Event[0], and Kona.

Another game that is more of a murder mystery and has a creepy atmosphere is "The Painscreek killings". The only bad part about the game is the ending. but other than that it's good.

Maybe not really in the same level of isolation, but check out Detroit: Become human, it deals with the same type of questions of existentialism, guilt and what it means to be human.

Gone home is awesome.

The only one I found that came close to the same sort of vibes was gone home. I think tsorf is an underrated masterpiece. Not because of the story, because of the atmosphere. I've stayed in places like this, it's an uncanny recreation.
