[Resolved] Outfits Keep Dissapearing From My Wardrobe

Exactly as it sounds. Every time I buy an outfit or find one in the world, it will eventually disappear from my wardrobe. Can be a matter of seconds, can be a matter of hours. In the case of purchased outfits, they will reappear in the store and buying them for a 2nd time seems to make them stay permanently. The Pyrobarian outfit disappeared from my wardrobe, as did the puffer jacket you get when starting the winter levels. I haven't found a way to get them back since they're found in the world or given to you automatically. The only outfit I've picked-up that seems to have stuck around is the hazmat suit you get in the labs.

The issue started with the first winter level. I had the winter outfit on and in my wardrobe at the start, I went to do a bonus level and when I entered that level I had the outfit I had on before starting the winter levels (hip-hop outfit). When I left the bonus level I still had the hip-hop outfit equipped and my winter outfit was nowhere to be seen. No issues before then, so I can only assume this is what triggered the bug.

Still haven't tried a new save file, since I've gotten pretty far, but I think I'm gonna do that now because of this glitch and a few other minor ones (also I wanna change the difficulty). I'll report back when I've gotten back to the same point and tested it again.

Update: Started a new save and the bug is still persisting. Didn't even have to get to the 1st winter level this time. Went to Ragg's shop in the Chroma Falls Village, bought an outfit from the store, it took my pearls, and instantly after buying it, there was no outfit in my wardrobe (except for the default pajamas). I go back into the store and the outfit is available again. Bought it a second time and now it's in my wardrobe.

Seems like it carries between all saves. I'm gonna delete my save files and re-install, see if that fixes it.

Hay Pizzanami,

The same thing happened to me last night. I bought a sweet outfit after crossing the desert. It was returned to the store and my money was gone for the purchase.

I am only mentioning it because its related. I know this is an early release and appreciate the privilege of paying it before its complete.

I'm now experiencing this glitch. Paying for the outfit unlocks the outfit like normal, but I then later saved and quit. When I returned to keep playing, I found the outfits were locked again.

Did this happen to weapons? Because I lost all of my toybox weapons and deployables/throwables. I only have the weapons/items that I had on me at the time of the update. Also, is it a common bug that you can't shop anymore? For some reason I can't talk to Raggs. Pressing my interact button doesn't do anything with her, but works fine with everything else. (If outfits are disappearing, then I'm glad I wasn't able to buy any, I suppose).

Forgot to update this thread, so sorry for the late response. It seems to be fixed (or at least it is for me) so I updated the title of this topic. Thanks devs!
