We have a small but fun update for you !

First of all, the small changes:

- Carol hair and clothes physics have been massively improved.
- Fixed an issue with the Kraken rotation
- Performance improvements
- Improved lighting in the swamps

But here is the fun part:

NEW GADGETS:

Nuclear Broccoli Test: Scientists of Crearia managed to harness the yuckiness from broccolis, and turned it into a weapon of mass destruction.

Glitter Missile: Shoot a missile from your back, that will home into the nearest target, and blow up in a massive explosion of paint and glitter !

Disposable Boomtube: Single use rocket, fast and high damage

Jump pack: short range rocket boost for a quick escape, burn anything close to you when used

Rocket Sentry: A sentry gun equipped with missile launcher

Foldable turret: A portable turret emplacement that you can deploy and use

Napalm Strike: Rain fire on things you don't enjoy, like vegetables

Minefield: Call a plane to deploy a minefield, be careful not to trigger the mines yourself !

500kg Canary: He's big, he's round, but he got an explosive personality

Care-a-mail: Call a supply drop of crates to replenish ammo and health

Reworked Airstrike: you can now decide where the strike will hit, increased power

NEW WEAPON :

Jackhammer: Firework assault rifle capable of locking down group of enemies

Big update incoming ! there is a LOTS of changes in this one, so let's begin !

NEW ADVENTURE AREA: THE WINDY MEADOWS !

Wait, what ? What is this ? Where is my candy kingdom ? You lied to us !
The Windy meadows is a new area taking place between the Inferno Valley and Shining Treetops, we felt that early game Onirism lacked the gameplay variety of later levels, and we wanted to break up the linearity a little bit with an open vehicle level.

The meadows are a pretty vast level where you can use vehicles to traverse quickly, but there is also a lot of things to discover ! And plenty of new enemies to shoot !

WE RECOMMEND ACCESSING IT FROM THE VOLCANO TO NOT DO THE LEVEL BACKWARDS

The meadows are also coming with 15 new outfits !

Along with a few reworked older outfits, and you might notice that Carol now no longer have lego sausage fingers, finaly, the fingies update is here !

Terrifying.
Most outfits also got more HD hands and glove textures, with FPS mode being improved as well.


MASSIVE WEAPON BALANCE CHANGES:

First of all, we are increasing Carol's weapon limit from 1+4 to 1+8 !
Players should now feel less limited to only carry one of each ammo type, and can have more freedom to take guns they like with them !

Damage over time was reworked, Fire, shock and poison now work properly

Flaregun: No longer stick to enemies, instead the flare bounce around, setting fire instantly to any targets it touches, Updated model and vfx

Incinerator: Can now set enemies on fire, the more flames hit your targets, the longer they will burn, Updated model and vfx

Napalm Cannon: Now the flames that stay on the ground can set targets on fire, it can now charge to fire a big fireball, setting targets on fire in a large area, updated vfx

Hot fuzz: Now set targets on fire

Aquomando: updated model and vfx

Liberator: Slower rate of fire, higher damage and accuracy, bonus headshot damage, Updated model and vfx

Napalm launcher: now fire 4 separate rockets, letting players cover a larger area

Buffalo XL: Updated model and vfx

Bazooka: Larger blast radius, higher damage, Updated model and vfx

Olympus: Higher damage, tighter projectile spread, increased headshot bonus damage, Updated model and vfx

Varmint Carabine: Faster rate of fire, Updated model and vfx

Hydratech: Now fire 3 projectiles instead of one, no longer burst fire, Updated model and vfx

Dual Splashers: Increased projectile speed, Increased accuracy, Updated model and vfx

Starhawk.50: Increased damage, Increased accuracy, Updated model and vfx

Bubbler: Now fire large bubbles that can bounce on surface, exploding on contact with a target or after a short time, dealing splash damage, Updated model and vfx

Jessie & James: Updated model and vfx

Tacticooler: Reduced magazine size, Updated model and vfx

Shock Value: Taser secondary fire now work properly, Updated model and vfx

P-lah mk3: x5 damage, increased stagger chance, but now consume purple ammo, Updated model and vfx

Cold Thumper: Increased fire rate, now freeze enemies, Updated model and vfx

Desert Raptor: Deals high damage but cannot charge anymore, longer firerate, Updated model and vfx

Poison Bow: Higher damage, poison properly works now

Widow's kiss: Now apply poison damage

Tickler chaingun: Bigger projectile hitbox, Updated model and vfx

And probably a lot more that i changed at 2 am and don't remember !

First of all, i need to answer some questions some of you might have.
Why did it take so much time to release this update ?

We got extremly unlucky. Right after the halloween update, i fell extremely sick twice in a row, causing us to be unable to release the rest of the Tricks & Trick update.
To compensate, our coders worked hard on a christmas update that..... couldn't come out.... as we run into an unfixable bug with our Unity version.
That meant we had to completly upgrade from our 2017 version to 2022, wich is a HUGE GAP.
And needless to say, a lot of stuff broke, so we had to fix up the game, it took us months, but here we are, finally ! On a new, clean and modern version of the engine, wich opens the door to a lot of things !

We had to change how the saves are handled due to the engine update

We bring you a COMPLETE OVERHAUL of the VERSUS mode, wich is now called PLAYGROUND

It is no longer a Multiplayer only gamemode, as we bring forth BOT SUPPORT !
Add up to 15 Carol bots for complete Chaos !

Playground come with 10 different gamemodes !

Napmatch: Classic arena mode, get the most eliminations to win !

Team Napmatch: Bring your team to victory by getting the most eliminations !

Queen of the playground: Zones will appear on the map, Stay in it to score points !

Team Playground: Control the zones with your team !

Hug the Bunbun: Grab bunbun and cuddle it for the longest to win ! Steal it from other Carols if needed

Capture the Bunbun: Capture the enemy team Bunbun and bring it back to your base !

Bully: One Carol will become the bully, and another will become the target, as a bully, eliminate the target to score, as other players, put the bully to sleep to become the bully.

The Girl with the Shiny gun: Grab the shiny gun, as it is the only weapon that can score points !

Domination: Turn the nightlamps to your team color to score points !

Virus Tag: After a bit, one Carol will become infected, don't let her infect you ! As an infected, use your special abilities to catch up to survivors !

All the old versus maps have been removed, as we crafted a whole new batch of them !

But be wary... as the Chroma falls will be full of monsters, and some can even turn you into a member of the undead family !

As a zombie, you lose almost all of your abilities and weapons.
But you gain two new abilities: a leap and a spit attack.
Zombie Carol is also 10% slower but have a 25% damage resistance
Any healing will turn you back into a human
