Did they fix the AI for single player?
Don't have anyone interested in playing this with me, so it's been sitting in my library quite a few months now.

How feasible is it to play this game alone in 2021?

Thanks, I remember reviews from launch that mentioned the AI partner wasn't really that clever and sometimes wouldn't revive you and stuff.

Yeah, it's almost like they pick you up instantly as long as they're close enough. You just have to press the button to 'call for help' to trigger it, as opposed to waiting or giving up to use one of your lives and respawn.

I would say it's not fixed. I only played 3 hrs, and AI refused to revive me for around 5 times already. She'd just stand there with no one shooting anyone despite me calling for help.

I was initially skeptical in this game, especially regarding the AI in solo Mode, but I was surprised when I found it very helpful and quick to react with cheers and revivals. Sure, sometimes your ally is not proficient 100 %, but I believe the game is completely fine for solo campaigns

The AI uses pep signal pretty often. If you give her a hralth pep signal you can take the armor one for instance.
Also yhe AI will revive you on time 9 out of 10 times which is better than my experience with real players.
The AI also use invisibility when you use your so you can play a little more stealthy than with a random player.
For shooting ennemies, the AI is not so great but it will give you more kills to upgrade your weapons if you want to get all achievements.

@Bobywan: My experience is that it rarely uses pep signals. I agree on the rest - with the invisibility they are useful for not messing up your stealthy gameplay style.

Overall, I think a partner is better and this game is really meant for coop.
