Got a free game for you as well. Sent you an invite.
I have successfully walked up to Winkler.
Thank you, now I just need to wait for my friend and I can keep venting my wrath at this video game!
update: i limited fps to 60, but can't make any changes to ray tracing in the options as it's greyed out. not sure how to actually disable the option. geforce experience says the option is currently on. looked online for answers, couldn't locate a fix.
New nvidia driver.
Rtx off, shades off, reflections off, make 60 fps limit. Nothing helps :(
Disable Async Compute.
You don't need to disable anything else (raytracing included).
It worked for me ;)
Any news ? fixes? workarounds ?
Disable "async compute" only doesn't work to me... I have rtx 2060 6g gddr6 asus.
But disable "nvidia adaptive shading" and "ray tracing" , works ..
So can i enable them again in the subsequents levels ?
After that Wrinkler fight ? Without troubles nor crashes to desktop ?
I have rtx 2060 .
Go to GEFORCE EXPERIENCE / Drivers. On the top right next to "CHECK FOR UPDATES" click on the 3 dots and select "Studio Driver".
After downloading and re-installing the drivers the game did not crash any more at the beginning of the Winkler fight. I am using Über settings with everything enabled (including async compute, raytracing, bloom, and what not) and it runs smoothly with around 100 FPS.
My specs: Windows 10, RYZEN 5 2600, RTX 2070, now using NVIDIA Studio Driver 527.56.
