[SOLVED] any tactics for zerstorer? Met one early on....

Currrently met one and am at level 9. Blocking an exit. Any tips on taking this down? Ran out of bullets the first time.

Either run away or pull out your favourite heavy weapon and blow your load.

If you have the ammo and can stay alive to land a few hits - shoot at its arms. They will detach and it will blow up after both arms are gone. Same tactic works with zitadelle also.

But if it has a skull where usually you will see their level then you are in out of your league territory, come back later :D though.... I went to the final mission with a very low level and every enemy had a skull as their level. Still managed to beat the game on Normal difficulty.

Sturmgewehr (preferably upgraded), Laser{kraftwerk/hammer}, Überhammer and grenades are all effective against Zerstörern, if you think you're up for the challenge.

Otherwise, get sneaky, or go back the other way, before he notices you.

it's a pity that old TNC tricks don't work for big enemies in YB...

I waited until I got the upgrades to store heavy weapons and let fire and fury rain upon them

To kill all BADASS Robots you must shoot of their shoulder plates. After that you shoot the exposed arms which will explode one after another. The Robot will explode shortly after.

OR you can shoot the head with headshot damage modified weapons (Sturmgewehr!), that will deal heavy damage.

PS: level 9 is suicide. Take the robot at level 19. I did the same mistake the first time i saw him :D
