How the hell do you add friends on the Bethesda Launcher for Buddy Pass

I can't figure out how to add friends on Bethesda. My friend made an account, but we can't figure out how to add friends. I figured linking the account to steam will fix this, but guess what!?! There is only an option to Facebook and Twitch on their website.

Seriously Bethesda. Don't make us use your trash if it makes players do ♥♥♥♥ like this. Because this is looking like quite the scam to just get people to sign up for your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ service.

You start the game and invite him with his Bethesda name, not his Steam name. Make sure game is friends only.

Find this annoying too. Why can`t the game use the Steam Nicks and let us add friends simply like Borderlands let us??

The Buddy using the pass must make a Bethesda account, load up the game, and sign in. The Host needs to go to the "Play Game" menu. Up top right is what you need to click and find your friend's Bethesda user name. Then add.
