Please tell me how to turn off the crosshair.

HUD: OFF keeps the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crosshair on. I just want to turn health bars and crosshairs off, is that really so much to ask for in a Id6 engine game?

g_showhud 0

I am amused that you responded to this 5.5 years after I asked. Thank you for your diligence.

That said, unfortunately that would turn off the entire hud. I typically enjoy having the hud on, especially for anything context sensitive. I just want the crosshairs off in my games, especially single player ones.
