Why did you make them so obnoxious?
The trailer is cringe, why can't you just make female characters that are as cool as male characters...but female? You make them look awful, obnoxious and cringe.

Can you developers please learn to make good female characters, what a wasted opportunity. You have stone cold characters like B.J. Blazkowicz that inspire respect and really make you feel amazing to play as him and then when you make females you turn them into clowns, why?

I was enjoying the trailer until they started talking.

But as soon as it's coming out of a woman's mouth, then it's "cringe"?

OK then, good to see there are absolutely no double-standards here.

Oh boy, you actually accuse someone else of double standards?
How deluded can you truly be.

If it wasn't for double standards, the Left wouldn't have any :)

I always just go back to Cate Archer (NOLF). She was slick, sexy, strong yet classy, appealed to male audience as well as girls. Why can't you make a female protagonist like that? Why can't they be sexy or seductive anymore? What's wrong with femme fatales, taking out bad guys while maintaining high class demeanor? Why can't a woman be strong but still classy?
Pretending to be a man isn't empowering anyone, it's showing girls they can't achieve anything if they just be themselves. That's just not cool.
That was such a great game 1st and 2nd one shame it never came to steam heard it was in a vault and the makers have been fighting for years on who owns it.

This is a very diverse trailer.

Thank you for being inclusive of the only two races out there. White and black.

Short-haired, deep voiced, without a feminine bone in her body and probably a lesbian - that's the kind of female hero we want.

This. Thank you for finally showing us that femininity is just a patriarchal construct and real women act just like lowlife street thugs.

Well I will just wait and see, could just be a really poorly done trailer which doesn't really feel like a Wolfenstein game and more of a murder version of the Wizard (1989). Also, I'm getting some serious Kung Fury vibes from the trailer as well. Honestly, the trailer doesn't give out to much other than a missing protagonist, cringe worthy catchphrases/one liners, and a murder filled road trip.

edit* oh and what the trailer is actually missing is an antagonist. Nameless faceless nazis/nazi robots aren't really in itself good enough to flesh out new protagonists in a story.

Kids acting like the 'soldiers' they see in movies. Yep, pretty well perfectly acted and cast.

...I really don't see what the issue is.

...This is exactly what kids raised by BJ Blazcowicz would act and sound like.

Take away the music and the only people who think this is a good trailer are contrarians. I really wanted to like this and was on-board for most of it, but around 50 seconds I had to turn it off.

I actually do think they just want to annoy people, the developers seem to be so out of touch with normal people it's horrifying. Why are they saying such cringy things, why are they swearing every 5 seconds like 5 year olds?

You would not make a male character this disgracefully cringe so why do you make females like this, for people to hate and mock?

Why? Because they are making the game in mind for the youth gaming market which is mostly in the 12-17 age ranges.

If they wanted these characters in Saints Row it'd be perfect, but since this series has been a balance between comedy and seriousness. It's important they keep the balance in mind.

It feels like playing D&D with the kid who keeps talking out of character most the game.

Yes it does sound like something out of Saints Row thanks for pointing that out.

Honestly that trailer has me turned around on it. They're not cringe, because they're not doing the RAR RAR whammin powah nonsense. They're even showing that they need the power suits to fight the Nazis, because go figure most women couldn't wield the type of guns BJ the human brick s♥♥t house could.

One person talking sense and yet they get banned to continue the delusion.

Just so many terrible ideas. I guess Fallout 76 was just the beginning.

that´s the problem right there.

they are missing the audience, Wolfestein is a franchise people grow up with, lots of mid-30 , 40+ are interested in the franchise, young people just play other games nowadays, they don´t give a ♥♥♥♥ about Wolfenstein.
by catering to 12 years old, sjw, soyboys and feminists they are completely missing the real audience, the fanbase of this once great and iconic franchise.
ist’s a disgrace...
besides I thought gone were the days games were mainly made for kids, there is a mature audience out there bethesda..

Both of you are so far from the truth it's not funny. The demographic is not 12-17, these people simply do not have expendable income so publisher is not looking at these individuals to make their primary sales.
Just because you don't agree with the themes in the game, doesn't mean that's the targeted audience.
Sure ok.

Why do female characters have to be clowns like this, why can't females in games be stoic and battle hardened killers as males are?

People should be screaming YES!, that's amazing! when you see a trailer with this kind of music but they make them look, talk and act like total clowns. Are they doing this on purpose to annoy people or what?

Check out a game called Ion Maiden, it has a kickass woman in it.

Someone might want to look up Alien and The Terminator while they're at it too.
