The in game dialogue
Its seriously bad. It is the cringiest, dudebro, frat boy garbage i can remember in gaming. Like Duke Nukem, but completely unfunny. I dont know what they were going for, but this aint it. Got the game for free from a GPU promo, had to mute the audio, then just stopped playing.
Add some way to turn off the Dialogue, and i would consider giving it another shot, as i love the series, but the sisters... they are just so unbelievably obnoxious, i refuse to waste my time subjecting myself to it for a mediocre reincarnation of what Wolfenstein actually is.
I honestly cant believe someone wrote, recorded, edited, and put this through any sort of playtesting and thought they had a good product on their hands.

IDK, at times I found them funny to listen to. When I play solo, yes, I turn on there banter. There just 2 teen age girls, what else do they know.

In COOP I prefer turning off all in-game chatter, music, just so I can talk to my mate. Skipping thru all cut scenes when needed and have a better time playing.

But I do see your point. Good thing they put option settings in the menu, huh? :steammocking:

It's a spin off, so take it easy
I really like the dialog between sisters, it's really funny

If you find that funny, i guess. I dont in any way feel anything other than massive cringe, they sound like 80s douchebag frat boys. I dont have an issue with them trying something new in terms of mechanics, its works to varying effect, interesting to grindy, but that isnt my complaint. I liked the dark gloomy take BJ had on the horrors in front of him, same take that Max Payne had. The douchy dialogue just ruins it for me, if i could turn it off, i would give it a shot, but as of when i had last played there wasnt an option that i could find.

Did you not read my reply? There are 2 sections in options where you can change all voice chatter. I turn off all the voice chatter. The only voice I here are the Nazi's dying.

What is Wolfenstein, if not killing the hell out of Nazis?

Not the premise, but the new mechanics in terms of bullet damage, the forced co-op with limited lives etc. Not against trying something new, but it wasnt enough to keep me playing thru the cringe. I was unaware you could turn off the dialogue, i may actually give it a shot if thats the case.

They are 19. Not that it matters. Cringe is cringe. The black girl is cool though. Doesn't come after her mother apparently.

To be fair, I live with 5 19-year-old students and having heard what they say, the dialogue between the sisters is about right.

lol the girls seem like average girls of todays times.
i really love the cutscenes. i find the cut scenes amazing, they draw me in, pull at my emotions, I feel invested in them. but then again what do i know i'm barely into the game.

i remember loving assasins creed series for the same pull in and emotions..
then unity came out and.. it was free of emotion and i didnt feel invested into the charachters. therefore i didnt care what happened to them. no emotions on there face at all.. now i dont support any AC games.

the cutscenes here really draw me into the wolfenstein series. I cant beleive this came from..
wolfenstein 3D.
