Then I removed the intro when starting that the intro does not always come, I had the console as a message the first time. It's a shame that you can't send it to the developers and the other session just closed the game without a message.
Got a 2080 RTX from Gigabyte with 32 GB RAM and Ryzen 2700X
I'm playing with RTX turned on, but no DLSS, since i'm getting 75-95 FPS usually (1440p), with most settings turned up all the way. I'll try DLSS eventually, but I wanted to see how the game ran before turning it on, since that is an option.
The game seems to run a bit longer when i turn my overclock down, before it eventually freezes up.
EVGA 2080 XC
i7 6700k
16 gigs RAM
* EDIT * NAS is NVidia Adaptive Shading (option maybe 5 below dlss). According to the video and description from Geforce Experience newest drivers (for this game specifically), the DLSS is supposed to make running ray tracing smoother. Testing it now. I also made shadows to ultra like (ironic name to the fix) Shadowboy813 suggested.
I'm very disappointed with Machine Games' handling of idtech6. Both TNC and Youngblood have been problematic (and why I gave both a negative review on steam, in spite of giving The New Order glowing praise--Old Blood, too).
After a crash corrupted my profile (and then sync'd the corrupted profile to steam cloud), I had to start over. I made it from about level 10 (where I was when I turned off DLSS and raytracing) to 27 without any crashing.
