Not true, I knew an Indian and several mexicans in my school who all spoke with accents despite our entire community essentially middle-class white people and them being born in the U.S. They got it from their parents/other family members.
Well this is actually what i hate the most in these game series -> "americans = pure people " "Nazis=ultimate evil of the universe".........

Most stories have a good vs bad theme. Also, Anya is Polish, Fergus is Scottish, Caroline is Austrian, and Set Roth is german.
