why the 0.08%?
I still think lively hp + stealth wall + dazzle Camouflage to get a +15,5% potency increase is better for a non-solo quest!
A low HP, on fire setup beats out the one you mentioned (which btw is +16.44% and still decent) in sheer potency, but swapping out Shortage HP for Endure Pain now lets you fire PBs off cooldown which is a crazy gain in itself and where the fun begins. It also works regardless of whether you are alone or in a party.
Where is the +15% counter damage ?
Also using a video with the argument "he is the fastest" after i literally said the only difference between those weapons is min-maxing is kinda pointless dont you think ? Of course youre faster with min-maxed gear then someone who didnt bother thats not an argument its simple logic.
And i am very sure we both know that Global isnt really into that Speedrunning and top time stuff. Never was. Global is more about efficency. And no. Putting hours or even days (worst case months) into your min-maxed gear is not efficent because your run is now 1 minute faster. When you need 100 hours to get your gear completely maxed out you need one hell alot of 1 minute faster runs to even out the time you lost min-maxing.
Some people really need to learn what min-maxing actually is. Its not just the last few percentages more it can literally be a whole weapon series. You can run and beat everything with Liberate just a bit slower. Hence why alot of people didnt bother. I also got Klauz for my main class only i didnt bother getting another one for any other class back then. Why would i ?
It only applies to one weapon. A katana is just a katana in base, it can afford to have katana-only effects on it. In NGS, a katana is often also a bow, or whatever else, and multiweapon is essential for basically every class except Waker. Weapon-exclusive potentials screw over one of your weapons, and weapon-exclusive affixes require you to commit two slots to the business while one of them is dead no matter which weapon you use unless they start designing EXs that target all of a class's weapon, and this comes with its own issues such as locking you even harder into an "intended" playstyle, and reducing the value of your loot because it is a dud for 9 out of 10 classes.
More importantly, there are some players that are, to put it mildly, mindbroken by the existence of counters in this game. No, not anyone in this thread. I'm talking about obsessive levels of seethe. +15% on a counter would unironically make this forum a more habitable place to discuss this game and this is not an exaggeration.
Well yes, since we're talking about BEST-in-slot of course someone would look up the fastest car in the world and see if it's using those parts and not something else. Also yes, contrary to its name people don't go for speed records to "save time". But when it comes to minmaxing to save time, obviously people would math out whether the X-minutes-less runs they are doing with their gear will pay off the initial investment, and skip the series that look like bait. Since these are not the ones who typically complain about not having money it looks like they were correct in their judgment.
You can beat most things with a Liberate (not sure about HTPD and the final depths for some classes; need to see it being done), but it is worth getting at least the final weapon series in the game because there are no more rugs for Sega to pull from underneath you. Even though I don't write the most flattering things about PSO2, I ended up making five Cras weapons and a BiS unit set. This was indeed overkill for most of the content but at the same time, I wasn't doing it for power, just looking for an excuse to play the game.
And it was this window in Ep.6 and the April-July period of this year where I had fun and some peace of mind with this game. Not sure about the transitional limbo we are in now. I say transitional because the "final boss" is here, and it will be followed with either an Ep.4 or "that"
As a strict Bow only Braver i politely disagree.
That being said "best in slot" doesnt have the same meaning in a different context. Best in slot in a "competitive" scene is different from best in slot for stricly "PvE". For PvE best in slot is what lets you finish the content as soon as possible. That way you also farm for the new chase gear much sooner and you have more money on hand because you didnt waste in on min maxing. And competitive best in slot doesnt really need to be explained its pretty much what everyone here takes that term for. Bigger numbers and faster times. Irrelevant for PvE players tho.
Pretty sure we have a 50 slot PSO2 inventory.
Was it added in at some point? Also 50 slots isn't enough for all the crap they give you in PSO2 lol.
I believe that was always there. Its your regular PSO2 Storage.

I think you are confusing your invetory, my invetory is only 50 in PSO2, I cant access my PSO2 inventory while Im playing NGS
Ah yes. It says inventory.
I forgot that NGS lets you manage your Inventorys and your Bank from anywhere. Kinda stupid tho that the PSO2 inventory is listed when we cant actually do anything with it while in NGS.
If you're not going to be playing PSO2 much then popping Material Storage and selecting the Batch move option from a terminal will dump all the old mats there. Then maybe put the rest in Premium or Extended Storage when you have the chance.
I currently don't know if non premium accounts can activate material auto storage (in the game's options) by just having the materials folder active. But if it can be enabled, that's a bonus to having it.
Anyway at this point i'm convinced nothing NGS does will matter because people will always hate it for not being PSO2 base even though it's right there. Don't worry though, in addition to the game EOS you will lose base PSO2 and any sort of Phantasy Star content for years if not forever.
Now act like every problem you have with the game isn't something that has been a thing since base PSO2 or just a ridiculous nitpick.
Why are the steam forums like this? It's almost as if people stir up pointless drama and arguments for the sake of having something to rail against... it's bizarre.
