They will add a bunch of stuff to the game, but this 12* weapon was one of the shortest "bis" weapons that ever lived.

I wonder how fast the prices will drop after the headline pretty much saying hey those 12 stars are useless haha, while back I finally got a rare drop worth money after 10k hours of playing pso2 I got a Rifle Flugel mad late but was able to sell it for 78mil - 10%, I've yet to get another rare drop after that games drop rates are a joke lol.

It will be in some event that gives 12 stars for free in a few months, probably. i see the cycle this game has and it makes it pointless to bother long time investments of weapons.

people calling twaalv useless are funny. stop crying over a 1-2% damage difference at best, not to mention twaalv will still likely be bis for force and maybe techter, and the support effect is extremely potent in group content regardless.

A : "Having BIS is good because you clear content faster"
B : "1-2% damage difference is nothing, because my BIS is no longer BIS so i have to cope"

Developers themselves said that PENTA-Selio is going to outperform Twaalv in DPS.

both statements can be true at once. having better gear helps clear content faster but at the very top you reach rapidly diminishing returns for your investment, so it's up to the individual at that point whether it's "worth it" or not to them.

idk why you keep calling it penta-selio btw, it's akroselio (final selio) and also only the 4th iteration, not the 5th. either way, it will generally outperform twaalv on most classes but on force and maybe techter i absolutely see twaalv as competitive if not stronger. currently on force, twaalv is light-years ahead of tri-selio.

headline said it would be, additionally the prefix 'akro' means final, peak, ultimate, summit in ancient greek.

i doubt it'll be the last upgradeable equipment of course. but i expect after akro we'll get a new one.
