NGS Cheaters, are/will they be a problem?

To inform a larger group of people or to get a legit reason on why this guy's been recorded "cheating" and looks like they're 100% cheating, has anyone else seen any?
I don't wanna give people more reasons to trash the game since i genuinely think it's gonna be pretty good in the future and its "alright" now, but I just don't want cheaters to become a problem in the future because no one's brought it up or noticed yet.

Not gonna name and shame cause that stuff usually isn't allowed and I'd like to get a few comments talking about it, so just search it up on reddit, its the only post I've seen.

For context if you haven't heard of and/or don't want to find the post, Guy basically teleports around the entire map and kills everything instantly. trials included, has a beefy straga and some basic gear on to help. So far i think they're mainly hanging around south, (probably because of level 3 enemies and more enemies than central), since the Ael Note C market is completely scuffed, with random amount of 939, 523, etc etc posted on the first page alone.


Edit: To make it clear, I couldn't really care less about the individual cheater(s), they'll (hopefully) get banned eventually. I'm more worried about cheaters in general getting worse/more widespread and becoming an actual problem, such as completely bricking the market for anyone trying to make money from non-scratch items or becoming a new source of RMT bots that aren't just credit card scams.

Everyone is thinking the same thing so keep insults to yourself please, definately do not name and shame them or witch hunt, and a special spot for:
Characters names are not unique, literally anyone can use yours and others. Do not find random people with a cheater's name, assume its them and get your friends to mass report them or harass them, etc. Character names are turned on by default (which i reckon is kinda dumb but whatever), so either change it to off or make sure you have their account name. An example is those PN42042069 people you see around everywhere, that's a person who hasn't changed their account name yet.

All i know this is online game and when it online game they have deference computer and server and they have game guard...this computer or server if i,m not mistaken it at U.S if i,m not wrong can they hack that from home PC...how can they bypass Microsoft and Google...and one thing i know u cannot hack or cheating on online game it not like a offline game that data already installed in your own pc...this is a huge problems the hackers will get jail if he get caught

For your anti cheat comment, those get bypassed all the time in popular games. Otherwise you'd see games like CSGO cheat free lol. It's a constant struggle.

Hacking the server implies gaining unauthorized access to the server.

Not a virus no. It's just normally requested information but tweaked to do something unintended/cheat. Ussually this gets caught by anti cheat but people find ways.
Also there's server side checks for anything that shouldn't be possible and it'll reject what your "game" (you edit this stuff in memory directly) is saying what you are doing and disconnect you on the spot. This can be worked around too otherwise again, cheats wouldn't be a thing.

I'm not sure how difficult it is since I am not a cheater lol but my guess is that it's not as easy as it sounds without being caught/instantly rejected.

It really is something that is up to the anti cheat and server to handle. There's thousands of players so you couldn't realistically hire someone or some to monitor that disregarding even the cost.

Anyway, I think PSO2 is doing fine. I think this is the second cheater i've heard of so far. Ofcourse needs to be handled asap though when they do slip in.

well as administration he will take action base on players report he will go to that suspect players and monitor the behavior ...admin could be anything he can be new players ,he can be high level players or he can be invisible no body know he was there entire time and he can check your inventory even though you lock it.

Oh off reports. Sega should already be doing that essentially with cheat reports. I guess we'll see how long this lasts.

Volunteer ingame mods are a thing but PSO2 doesn't have a rampant cheater problem like some other games to consider it. There's effort involved finding trust worthy people to do the job correctly. If it was the kind that just approves reports then it goes back to there aren't enough cheaters in this game to need that system since there reports aren't flooded with many cheater reports.

okay win I was on ship 3 I heard someone type "Are you using cheats?" to the map area I had no idea who it was I was in the cave with everyone else that's win the Gigantix drop. so the hacks was starting to come in the game at that time. teleport hacker that was shown on reddit people was already talking about that and I don't know if they are going to do anything about it this game has hacks sadly to say.

Yes...i saw it at ship 4 today multiple character with same name coming out from Ryuker device over and over again i check his character information that why i know his name, in just a few seconds before gigantix pop up at that area...after we defeated that gigantix, i go to every Ryuker device and search for that character and i found him at Cryano Clifs and same thing happens that character coming out from Ryuker Device multiple of time in just a few seconds ten till 20 of time....and i say what happens with this character is it lag???....no...other characters comings out and gone like they never returned to this Ryuker device...but this character repeatedly coming out...strange very strange

They do. But they probably got tired of repeatedly doing it so they just permabanned SA usage on Area chat.

JP does not have this SA problem. And cheaters kept to themselves.

Notice how the dupe bug on pso2 was noticed only when game went global?

We've had in Jp, along with Global server, blocked access to shops for many days because of it.

Global really are 2nd class customers compared to JP.

You have to login through your Steam account, it should be safe since it uses that Steam login service. Then you do Support > Contact Us.
