The other way around tho ? Nope.
Problem is base game is linked with the NGS startup (log in screen) which means base wont run without NGS ever no chance.
This is so weird, it's not practical. I don't understand why Sega did this.
I don't know. Maybe something like that could be a thing for PSO2 too at one point??
I'm going to hope they do that in the future, because installing 108.21 gigs of content that I'm not going to play is stupid. I didn't like PSO NGS so I don't understand why I would have to install this game if I just want to play PSO2 classic
Because they are insane there no other game mmorpg that use space in your storage 100 gb but here it is the game that use 100 gb of storage
Simple.
Imagine Sega splits their current playerbase across 2 PSO Online games. Sega needs numbers for Investors.

Not gonna happen as the are now full steam ahead on NGS, as of this posting, and that the JP playerbase already had Base for 8 years.
Base was still attached so 8 years worth of stuff by JP player base, and one years from GLobal userbase, gets carried over.
And base content should tide over GL players who are not content with what NGS has.
And also, base is much larger than NGS lol.
It's irrelevant which of the two games takes up more space, because I still have to install 30 gigs more of content that I have no interest in playing. And 30 gigs is a considerable amount of space.
I don't understand what you're saying, please be more clear.
I don't think so, I don't know how something from NGS can be inside PSO2 classic, I don't know if I have an answer for that, how would I know?

Lower right is the fashion category.
Can't we just simplify it to him that Sega intended it to work this way instead of them separately launching a PSO3?
That SEGA wanted it this way is a bit obvious, but what some gamers want (including me) is another. If you like the PSO2 integrated NGS, for some silly reason, great! I'm glad you're satisfied, but don't make this an issue for anyone who wants something different. It's simple.
You make it seem like it can't be done just because both games share files, but it can, there is no reason why it can't be done. This isn't the first game ever made that shares files between 2 games. Both games are working off the same engine and the same servers, the hard work has already been done.
This isn't a case of not being able to do it, it's a case of Sega choosing not to do it.
Proof of what exactly? that the hard work has already been done? It's already there in the game. They won't do it now, but they could have made it so you pick which game you launch. A button for NGS and one PSO2. You would still need to download the files if you want your cosmetics from either game, which will be pretty big, but it can be done. They didn't NEED to make it so you had to download the entirety of both games, they just chose that way because it was easier.
