Whats the fastest way to level weapons?
I was maining a su/fi but have now switched my main to fi/hu as I am trying to get 80/80 levels for su & fi to unlock stuff. Weapons is a new area for me and I'd like to know how to max them as fast as possible.

UPDATE: 14-11-20 You can now use EX-Cube shop to buy EXP Weapon Mini's for 5 cubes each. It takes about 20 to 25 of these to level a weapon from 0 to 35. It depends on great successes.

You can also buy these EXP Weapon Mini's from Photon Drop Shop, it's 10 photon crystals for one EXP Weapon Mini.

collection folder 13*

Besides the Revolsio weapons on the Collection Folder, you can stockpile twelve-star weapons (Nox and Sigma weapons) and fuse them with each other until they reach +10. You will get "stuck" until you unlock the potentials so did the minimum effort to get the weapons to just touch +9 or +10. I would do this with spare weapons that were twelve-stars since they still use Grinders to upgrade.

Afterwards, I would use those as upgrade fodder for my thirteen star weapons.

You can get these weapons much more easily when you play on Extra Hard (Level 70, or 75/75 or 80/80 depending on the Emergency Quests you play).

once upon a time that was a decent way to level weps, when people sold nox for like 2800-4200 meseta, but now that people dismantle them for gold mats it's more profitable to just use the revolsios still. hunting 12* is only really viable on like XH profound darkness

I wasn't meaning that as a replacement for not doing the Collection Folder for the Revolsio weapons but I tend to do both when I need to since I still have an abundance of twelve-star quests in the content I tend to play on my end.

But admittedly I never bought twelve-star weapons off of the Player Shops and just collected the weapons over time.

my general aproach (when low on lambdas (wich I am not really atm)) is to use 7-9s weapons and grind 12s weapons to 30 and then feed them to 13/14s weapon (depending on what you have) on a 13 the 1-10 range will be covered fully (I think the xp technically reaches up to 12 but it hits the roof for the locked session) 10-12 it tends to cover up to roughly 18 and in the 20-30 range it goes to just about past 26. now I always have a revolution file running while doing the other collections so that I can use a +30 13s weapon for the 20-30 section.

as for how to get 35 weapons you have to feed the same weapon to itself to increase the cap 1 level (seen on page 2 of the weapon).

depending on the weapon type you like for fighter you could check the player shops for a quick weapon there were +30 rev weapons for about 1.5 mil in the dual saber section, but both knuckles and daggers are 6+ for 30+ weapons, you can ofc buy lower grinded weapons for 200-300k mesetas and grind them yourself aswell, just be abit mindfull of augments (dont have to minmax but sometimes you can fing cheap +70 mainstat weapons).

and for anyone that is trying to play the non premium way save all the personal shop ticket you get from fun/sg scratches and check the augment price on any 4+ unit wich a soul aug or 7+ weapon, depending on what you get you can get a pretty penny for them, and use the shop pass when you can post more then 5, since those passes are rare

If you are working with 13* weapons, your best bet is to grind (level) up 12* weapons to feed to your 13*. This will also save you Lambda Grinders.

The weapon type matters very little when grinding 12*s -- 10* weapons work best for this, so when you are identifying your Special Weapons, keep any +3, +4, and +5 10* that you are not planning to swap to excubes or sell in Player Shops, and use those to grind your 12*s, it will save you a little time and money.

To go 0-30 on a weapon, you will need (3) +26 12* weapons (4 if you don't need to raise cap), (1) +30 12* weapon, and (1) +13 12* weapon. You will also need 5 copies of the weapon to raise the cap from +30 to +35 (THESE DO NOT NEED TO BE +30, just use regular +0 ones).

At level 0, using a +26 12* will bring you to level 10.
At level 10, using a +30 12* and a +13 12* will bring you to level 20.
At level 20, using 2 +26 12* will bring you to level 30.
After this, you need to use 5 more identical copies of the weapon unless the cap is already +35. You can check this in second 'tab' of your weapon's information. If you're already +35, then you'll need another +26 12* to finish the weapon at +35.

Rev weapons are a potentially more expensive, but much easier way to grind this. You can basically skip any tier (0-10, 10-20, 20-30) by using a +30 Rev weapon, and you don't have to worry about grinding up those 12*s. You still need the copies of the weapon though.
but what is it going to take to make these +30 12* weps and what not

I honestly can't remember the exact amount since it's been a while but the typical seasonal EQ session would leave enough fodders to get at least one (but usually 2) of them taken care of.
