NGS was a mistake

I don't think NGS is bad it's just really lacking in the quantity of thing to do if you started playing it from start.

But i clearly think it was a mistake to link NGS and base PSO2 together, almost destroying PSO2 stability at the same time.

And i really think it don't belong in the PSO franchise, they should simply have made a new name for a new game.

That would actually explain a lot. If you're wrong then I remain confused. Either way, I suspect him to show up soon and cause this thread to be locked as well. With that said, he's not the only one doing this.

I disagree with the part about connecting the two and I will tell you why I feel this way respectfully.

I love the character creation I built up on Base Pso2. The in my own mind the fantasy I created is translated and transferred to NGS and my own story continues. The outfit identifies my created world which started a new chapter in NGS. All the time Is not wasted but enhanced in my personal perspective opinion. I hope you can see it in that light?

but seeing how the 2 game work it could have been possible without having the 2 game melted together to just link a same account to the 2 game and having a sort of transfert pass of the cosmetic/character from 1 game to the other. they even could have made it a free 1st time and buying the others.

my point is some people don't wan't to play one or the other of the game. that way they wouldn't have been kinda forced to download a big load to just play 1 of them and not both.

and as i said i don't get the pso vibe from ngs so i think it would have been better if ngs hadn't claimed pso in its name.

Talking of going off topic, the title of that thread was "Is NGS dead" I simply posted facts that the game had a very low player count because people like yourself were trying to pretend that the game had a lot more players than Steam's player count was showing. I never said it was a flop, I never said it was dead, just that the player count was in a pathetic state. The OP never specified that they were looking for players in the game, they simply asked if the game was dead.

Pretty much yeah. NGS was a huge waste of resources that would have been better spent adding to PSO2 instead of making the most boring attempt at an open world in the history of video games.

Calm down folks, everyone already knows about the opinions about the game, waiting is the only telling bit about the future of the game.

If your unhappy with what you experienced, perhaps it may not be worth your money, if its to the point that your no longer having fun with nothing to keep you around then it'll be best to play games that you do enjoy.

If you already said your piece about what you dislike about the game to being a deal breaker with you then leave to take it out of your mind.

Once Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis were to get another major update after December if it wasn't to your liking then sticking around is just unhealthy for you since who even wants to play a game "They don't even enjoy playing at all".

You speak louder by not playing the game and not spending your money, that will be the only last straw to get your voice heard. These controversial surveys with one of them asking a question why your not spending money is pretty much the step that its working, if you love the game then perhaps you should be more serious on what you would be suggesting of what would make the game a fun experience for you including others.

At least this would make Sega think twice on poor performance from their Golden Goose that needs more love and time, once they have a more proper management and stable vision for the game with a target audience in mind then maybe we'll be happy once they get their heads together giving what made Phantasy Star that we love about, well at least "This" current Phantasy Star that we love haha...

what we would have loved is if they hadn't shoved New Genesis in our faces when we were starting to enjoy base pso2, alliance agrees that base was more fun because it had something for everyone but most agree that they miss concerts and actual events that showed love towards pso2 in general.

But yea no lets give the players nothing but scratch tickets and a sad excuse for braver, bouncer isn't bad but it could have been better.

Unneeded. The game looked a bit old yes but thats what gave it its charme. The community right now is like 50/50 about this where one half likes it and the other half believes the new look looks even worse then the old one. 3.) No Dungeons.
Ever heard of an open world game without any dungeons ? Well at least i never did until NGS released. UQ are nice and all "AS A GLOBAL EVENT" but those aint farmable dungeons.

4.) The fact that Sega said NGS will have much less Story content then PSO2.
I mean really ?

If Sega patches and updates NGS as if its still PSO2 then they should have stayed with PSO2. Instead they update the engine so they can resell old outfits all over again and do a collab with a company that sell Hardware (how convinient). All in all NGS feels like a cash crab that runs on bad servers that cant even handle Segas own engine upgrade (oh that ironie).

Dont get me wrong i like the new Engine aswell however Sega did it very badly. YOu can create the same quality grafiks with less stress on the Hardware but Segas inkompetens forces the playerbase into upgrading their hardware. I mean i can Play games like Blade and Soul,Vindictus,Warframe etc with no problems and they have very good Graphics with very low requirements.

And as i said before NGS didnt even need the new Engine because Animeish games age pretty well in that regard.
