No community manager? Sounds like a win win to me. The community managers for global PSO2 have been nothing but the best example of why community managers are so disliked in general.
It's odd that you have such a negative view of a potential PSO2 private server in the future when every other private server in this franchise has been so well received.
Also, the people developing the current private server are the same people that developed the PSU Clementine private server. I've known these guys for over a decade. Their aim will be to keep PSO2 as close to the original PSO2 as possible and expand on it.
Thats the problem. You think.
You have too know not to think. Thinking is for people that dont know the answer yet or are not sure. And calling someone "obsessed" by "thinking" is just self reflection.
And "i know" i am satisfied with the Universe P-Server. What you "think" is irrelevant.
There are people in their forums breaking the ToS every single day and get away unpunished, because they White Knighting their game.
While i got banned for a whole week for "derailing the topic", when the other person broke the ToS first : https://ibb.co/qY959Q5
Chinese communist government what do you excpect?
having played private servers for games before, i agree. private servers run a huge risk for corruption and admin abuse because who's gonna stop them if they're the only source for the game (or the game in a user-friendly state)?
i expect any pso2 private server to be rife with drama, power abuse, and uncontrollable levels of erp.
Pretty good for a private server of a VERY old game!
It's just sick to be hoping for an existing game's rapid demise just so you can play on private servers. It makes sense for PSU, but we do not want Sega to close the door on PSO2/NGS. Go play something else.
In any case, wants are independent from reality because PSO2 is the cockroach that has survived numerous nuclear apocalypses. Detractors have been calling for its demise since 2015 and here we are, the newbabies are just now going through the same revelations so go easy on them. Their cries are not going to be heard.
And something to brighten the day, I am sure the cummers will never sniff out my public private sanctuary and make a nest for themselves there once they catch wind there is a way to dress up and erp without dancing to Sega or the player market's tunes.
It's sick? XD
Get a grip, it's only a video game.
Soooo just like how NGS is now, fair enough lol
Go play Requim Bloodymare (has a different name now i believe but its on Steam). Its an MMO that literally died like 2 years after release and its still running with no people playing and that for over a decade now.
So no. Things dont die when they die. Some come back as Zombies.
Why would you play and pay for a cut down, censored version of a game that came out like what...a decade after the original japanese release? At the point where 50% of people stopped caring.
And no a "dead game" means the "PLAYERBASE" is gone. A "Game" thats not being "played" is dead. Look at it like someone whos in a coma and wont wake up again. You can pull the plug or you let it run of life support.
So no a game still having its servers up and running doesnt mean its alive. Who ever claims different is "reinventing" terms.
Now abut Requiem.
Yes the homepage etc is still online. Its called "Archive".

Last Update in the year 2011. Not dead huh ? Even the Forum section is Archived and cant be written in anymore. You can still download and play the game but its pretty much finished.
Even the re-release on Steam (after shutting it down once on steam lol) had its last content patch 2019. This game has a longer and much harder story of pain and struggle then NGS ever will.
