Whatever you are comfortable with. I typically use 4 or 5 palettes for melee or ranged, all 10 for techniques...
The economy being expensive is normal, due to scratches being real cash converted into in game skins so the sellers want to make in game currency by spenting real cash.
Also you want to buy Wingard which is the endgame weapon atm.
You can play Slayer / sub class Fighter in order to use dual sabers.
Do you expect a Warrior with a Sword to find a random Wand and start casting spells like he is magician or something?
What you are looking for is Ye Xiu from Kings Avatar anime / Korean drama series.
He had a character that had all classes combined into one and his weapon could transform mid battle in order to use all class skills but with less damage.
You have dual class, main class and sub class. A slayer with fighter sub, can use dual sabers. Of course, if you are trolling and want everything.... Then end of story.
And if you are on KB/M, type this command in your autochat: /spal
That command is a command for a quick palette change, /spal1 changes to your first palette, /spal2 for your 2nd etc etc, it helps you change weapons on the fly with a button press if you pre-programmed your autochat with the commands. I tend to use it for Techniques to cater to the weaknesses to the mob that I meet, Fire/Dark weakness, Ice/Light weakness, Wind/Lightning weakness all have their own special palette that I can change on the fly.
It also works for fashion in safe areas. /mf1 to /mf10 changes your outfits with a button press if you used them in autochats.
