Playing classes with multiple weapons.
The economy in this game is absolute dog. And even drop rates for wingard or getting preset skills is hard. None the less, Ive been playing slayer and fighter, with slayer he only has gunblade, with fighter he has 3 weapons but I only use double saber because of the whirlwind mechanic (And I find it to be the best weapon over all). Either way as a player you are usually going to invest into 1 weapon (multi weapon, what ever) per class, and not actually using the other one (or 2). I need some sort of combined class mechanic.

You just place different weapons... into your palette and basically switch weapons on the fly. 10 palettes, enough for variations like palette 1 , gunblade combat zone aoe PAs, palette 2 gunblade boss focused PAs, palette 3 , multiweapon gunblade/doublesabe PA variant 1, palette 4, knuckles kungfu fighting PA, palette 5, dark elemental double saber Revita series weapon, etc...

Whatever you are comfortable with. I typically use 4 or 5 palettes for melee or ranged, all 10 for techniques...

You using controller or keyboard/mouse?
Didaibr May 6, 2024 @ 5:20am
One example I have is bow/machinegun, when Im using bow I have aimless rain from machinegun to do AoEs because IMO bow suck for AoE

My guy, im talking about the classes, a slayer cant use dual sabers. a hunter cant use soaring blades. I specifically said for multiweapons, not using them like how you would a normal weapon.

Fixa level 1 is free.

The economy being expensive is normal, due to scratches being real cash converted into in game skins so the sellers want to make in game currency by spenting real cash.
Also you want to buy Wingard which is the endgame weapon atm.

You can play Slayer / sub class Fighter in order to use dual sabers.
Do you expect a Warrior with a Sword to find a random Wand and start casting spells like he is magician or something?

What you are looking for is Ye Xiu from Kings Avatar anime / Korean drama series.
He had a character that had all classes combined into one and his weapon could transform mid battle in order to use all class skills but with less damage.

You have dual class, main class and sub class. A slayer with fighter sub, can use dual sabers. Of course, if you are trolling and want everything.... Then end of story.

Your main can use the weapons of your subclass with a 10% damage penalty. Situationally, it can be worth it at times, like anti-mobbing. If you combined a multi-class weapon for your main+sub, you can use the PA and WA for both.

And if you are on KB/M, type this command in your autochat: /spal

That command is a command for a quick palette change, /spal1 changes to your first palette, /spal2 for your 2nd etc etc, it helps you change weapons on the fly with a button press if you pre-programmed your autochat with the commands. I tend to use it for Techniques to cater to the weaknesses to the mob that I meet, Fire/Dark weakness, Ice/Light weakness, Wind/Lightning weakness all have their own special palette that I can change on the fly.

It also works for fashion in safe areas. /mf1 to /mf10 changes your outfits with a button press if you used them in autochats.

10% huh, well its better then 50% or somethin.

Refer to Didaibr's post. He uses his sub to clear out weak mobs that have less HP with his area effect weapon, so the 10% loss is made up for by the ability to "spread the love around". So, situationally advantageous at times.

MW is a failure of a mechanic and the 1 weapon classes are better designed and stronger than the ones with more than 1, ESPECIALLY HU and FI which both need to be completely redesigned.
