I havent played much outside of some quick dailys. What weapon units and augments should I be using in that new Dark Falz UQ ? I use slayer and ranger.

A good universal choice for a weapon is as follows.

The best weapon that's easily accessible is Eredim from Nameless City.

For Slayer the best weapon fixa is Termina

For Ranger the best weapon fixa is Wix

Best armor is the Einea Vio because you can sell them when you're finished with them.

You can run all LC capsules. Consider swapping out Mastery LC for something like Triyal for a bit more damage for usual cases. Running 3 Triyals x4 will hammer your EHP especially on Slayer that you'll cause yourself problems with other quests.

For weapon, pick whichever 10* weapon suits your class better unless you can find a cheap good high Preset Flugel.

Just to clarify, Guaro Triyal is the most detrimental augment which is why its not listed.

Spiro Triyal gives you less PP but that's why I suggested Highkvar Domina LC, it will offset that.

Wardro Triyal makes you more susceptible to ailments like confusion and burn, but most of the games content doesn't use it against you.

When I suggested that Grand Dread Keeper LC or Gigas Maste LC is debatable, I'll elaborate. If you have maxed Braver Add-On Skill go with Gigas Maste LC for Slayer, otherwise run with Grand Dread Keeper LC.

Budget weapon choice is correct. Ideally get Fixa Lv.2 (Slayer: Termina >> Fatale > Attack > Blastor | Ranger: Wix >> Fatale > Attack > Blastor)
Best armor is pretty much any Einea armor, if you want to sell them later, any of them except the original Einea will do. In terms of utility stats, Arga/Belta is best (Slayer and Ranger can't use Sheza)

You can use force subclass to do the exact same thing, but also able to use actually decent weapons (Crystia is very outdated rn). Gunner sub and Slayer sub also helps with pp in different ways.
