And RMT or red containers have nothing to do with inflation, it's just basic supply and demand. A more popular item will get bought by more people, which will raise the price.
The most expensive items in the new scratches go for like 1.5 mil, if things were working like you assume they'd be getting bought much more often and would be much more expensive as a result. But I managed to get most of the several things I wanted for around 2-3 mil.
Alpha Reactors - 49k
Total = 579k per account.
ToS breaker can earn over 1 mill with just 2 accounts.
The market/economy is working normally, some items are just in higher demand and are given as prizes more rarely than others.
But the majority of items are completely affordable even for free players.
How long is long? Because it can take 1-3 hours to get 100k maeseta through PSE burst farming. And people who sell AC items might not see their item sold for days.
Even if they get banned, the illegally obtainable maeseta isn't removed from circulation - unless people are pouring all of it into the NPCs.
And collecting all of the red containers doesn't just involve having to collect them all, it also involves having to make multiple accounts and get through the tutorials and gaining access to all of the areas each time.
Not even including the tedium of it all.
It will get you a chunk of meseta if you don't get banned first, but it won't be nearly enough to affect the economy on a meaningful scale.
Is it taking 15 hours to go through the tutorial...? Because either way, they're making more maeseta than PSE Burst farmers. A chunk can add up.
All that matters is the supply and demand of items, and so far no items currently circulating are outrageously priced.
Even the most expensive ones are usually affordable on the profit from weeklies, people just have to manage their meseta spending a little.
F2P players just cant compete even if they get a shop pass because there is literally nothing to sale beside AC items.
None of those alts are going to farm all 530k of them. The ideal path only has select number of red boxes as the others like the resola forest ones involve running thru the story and raising your BP.
f2p will need to forgeo minmax gear in order to participate in fashion, but as long as you don't want too many emote/poses/hairs/accessories, you won't be too badly off. It hasn't gotten as bad as base pso2 yet.
It's a joke.
