I can't download the game

Everytime I press Play Game it leads me back to the steam store. Is there a workaround? I really dont wanna download it frrom windows stoe

To my knowledge there is no region lock on the NA game. However,

Is XBox Live service supported in Brunei? Because I'm 99% certain the Steam version still accesses XBox Live. You may want to go to Arkslayer's website, download and install the Tweaker app, and install and play through that. I'm not promising it will work, but it's your best bet. It's what allowed people outside of Japan to play the JP version, and now they have a version for the NA game.

remove your credit card from steam so it doesnt bind you to your proper country
get a VPN, any free or trial will do
dont log into steam for 12 hours
connect your VPN to an US connection, log onto steam, and enter the pso2 steam page from a web browser and press play
as soon as you start downloading the game
you can switch back to your normal connection for increased DL speed.

Actually there is a region lock on this game. SEA, accept for a few regions is blocked.

Also someone mentioned Steam changed their rules regarding VPN due to people changing their countries to get a cheaper price on games.

yeah thats kinda weird considering how JP can access it and I CLEARLY SEE that the maintenance time says (Asia/Singaporerr). So I'm guessing that I can download it too. I'll try the tweaker, thanks
