Error NP1013

Hi everyone,

I have just recently downloaded the game and after 5 minutes of playing it crashes and leaves me with the following error: "An unexpected error occured. []".

Anyone have any ideas? It's very annoying I still haven't been able to get to the character creation stage ...

I have all update of windows, all update of the game and just Windows Defender for antivirus.

My PC is recent so I think it's not from the hardware part.

Its gameguard, the cheat detection. Its total crap and gets triggered by a bunch of stuff that shouldn't trigger it. Like a liberal.
For me it was net limiter.

Oh i have netlimiter too ! i will try to disable it for this game

I have it but no netlimiter :(

Well after some test it looks like it's NetLimiter that's causing these problems, thanks for the help RedDragonGecko !

Its caused by several programs like net meeter or 3rd party task manager.
In short- try to close any unneccessary program and try again.

Yep i disable netlimiter when i play at PSO2 and it works

Wow are you *'ing kidding me. A network controller application triggers Game Guard... OMG that is seriously F*** up.. Anyway thanks guys i also use netlimiter so obviously i have to turn that off for this stupid ..............

This GG is pretty annoying and get triggered for nothing, i think that every software that modify a bit the game (network, graphism, etc...) aren't supposed to work with gg.

I'm not sure about that but that's what i read on different post on Reddit or other forums.

Can you guys explain in detail how to do this or dumb it down for me. I'm running into this wall now and in trying everything that my dumb brain knows lol. I jus turned off my fire wall and am giving that a try as i type

If you're playing FFXIV, make sure to turn off ACT, error went away as soon I turned it off LOL

Any idea what else it can be? I don't have net limiter, I don't have things like cheat engine active or any moniroting software enabled and yet I get the error too and it only started happening recently. I took like a month long break from the game, never uninstaleld it and come back to this BS error.
