PS5 touchpad inputs not working since update.

Anyone else on controller with extra bindings on touchpad input found that they suddenly stopped working with the new update?

I've tested other games so my touchpad isn't busted, doesn't seem like a steam issue so was wondering if its a pso2 issue instead.

nProtect GameGuard has broken everything related to controller inputs that go beyond the default controller inputs. Until this is addressed, you will be seeing this problem regardless of where you try to play the game.

ayy, not the ps5 controller but logi m575, the side-buttons are no use now, been update/reinstall/reboot now, really troublesome.

Yep my setting on trackpad and mic button on dualsense all not working, other basic button is working properly. and yes probably Gameguard's fault as other games working fine

the keyboard and mouse attached to my Steam Link hardware aren't working after this update either. I really hate GameGuard. I just hope they don't switch from it to something much worse like Xingcode 3(whoever made this atrocity has a special place in hell waiting for them)

Well, I got some bad news for you, because that seems to be exactly what is going to happen.

I have the same problem. I can't trigger keyboard keys with a controller any more, like triggering sub-palette items directly with 1, 2, 3 etc. without having to switch the selected item. I've submitted a support request and urge you to do the same to make SEGA aware.

My rear panel buttons on my Steam controller have stopped functioning as previously arranged as well. I would suggest sending a message on the NGS Discord, may get some traction there.

my guess is this is a side-effect of them trying to break the bot-spammers. which means, our steam input controller problem is possibly permanent. and we have to go devolve to using regular console inputs.

Yeah, same general issue here - I had numbers bound to holding the left stick and pushing other buttons (on an X-Box controller) via Steam Input for the sake of the sub-palette. Breaking that makes the game so much clunkier to control - very aggravating. I'm glad they at least seem to be acknowledging it, as above. Hopefully they'll actually fix it so the run-as-administrator workaround won't even be needed either.

In the meantime, I might play around with binding the right stick to act as the D-Pad (with the click as a left-stick click) while the left stick is depressed to make things slightly less obnoxious.

I have fancier bindings set up on the Steam Deck when streaming it over Moonlight, so I'll have to see if it broke those too, or if Moonlight is emulating keyboard input at a lower level so as not to get GameGarbageGuard in a tizzy.
