They can't do anything to you there.
Any website that has moderators from Twitter / Facebook / Discord / insert whatever website you want, they leave what ever post they like and they strike what ever they do not like.
This is how online websites work.
Well, the discord is still worse than this forum. There was a lot of drama around this one.
As soon as you give a negative opinion, you always have a shill to come and whine and defend the game as if their life depended on it.
I really hope they are paid for this, some never want to see any flaw and always defend the indefensible.
You can even get banned here, for having said your opinion or discussing a subject normally.
trolls on the other hand, no problem for them. :-)
it's a community manager. but in regards to Daddy Joof, he's just a discord mod.
In other words, not affiliated with SEGA or Microsoft.
lmao, even
they were not toxic at all.
You have community managers like David and regular discord mods like daddy Joof.
David is there to stand in direct contact with the community for events like headline + or to communicate between us, Microsoft and Sega.
Discord mods just make sure that users abide to the rules set by official discord team.
Some are more strict and abusive of those powers, others are more lenient.
Daddy Joof is known for easily being triggered if you get into an argument with them, for example the change of SG discussion.
I also had to deal with him before, I didn't get banned, though, I quickly realized that it's not a person I want to have a serious discussion with. He likes to have his opinion on things, and if yours isn't the same, you quickly see yourself on the losing end.
It always depends on how much Mods are being Supervised by Admins.
As for the PSO2 Discord, it's pretty much the Mods and CMs. And CMs don't usually deal with that type of Stuff.
So, what you're left with is Mods.
It doesn't take alot of time to find out that the PSO2 Discord for the most part is pretty badly moderated.
The Mods are mostly there to talk with others and sometimes intervene.
But the amount of Off-Topic Discussions ending up in the wrong Channels is beyond crazy, even by Mods themself.
Best example would be the phor your information channel.
At times i thought it would be nice to share some informations about farming maps etc. there, but it got flooded by useless pictures and useless off-topic stuff, so at the end i just dropped that Discord and went with a Ship Specific Discord.
99% of the Time, Official Game Discords are just Circle Jerk groups anyways.
