....Lost everything

Ive been playing this game almost non stop since its global release , had tons of fun and new friends along the way . At some point recently i changed pc setups and during the procces my old hard drive ended up loosing all of its data . it seems that even if i am using the exact same steam account to access phantasy star online 2 ngs that i used before - none of my previous progress data exist anywere to be found ......... as much as i was looking forward to playing fantasy star online 2 ngs on a decent machine finally ...... i dont know what to do . or if its even possible to recover that wich was lost .... if anyone knows please help

contact pso2 support because your game data is server side, meaning it doesn't matter where you login as long as its the same account the data should still be there. Your hard drive wouldn't matter here.

never mind ....... i completly over reacted ...... because as soon as i entered in the game before i chose a ship i was shown all the new player information and promps ..... i never pressed character creation because of how convincing it was so far that i was being dealt with as a new player ....... turns out that all my characters are fine ---- holly ♥♥♥♥ this was a scare and a half !!

An live service/online game doesn't need local saves. And no, those Diablo 2 diskettes do not count.

Well .... some multiplayer games still use local data save like monster hunter world / rise ...... it was very convincing that i was being treated as a new player and that a sorta .... freeked me out

the only thing local is your character preset save for salon even so the server should have copy of those templates
