Well, Efitus armor price in player shop will nosedive too. The least to drop is probably the melee/etc variant due to the braver mania causing higher demand.
located south west of south aelio in the cave
Hope there are some super rare drops like emotes or something because right now i see no reason running that thing once you have the weapons. AT least the first time clears are somewhat good. 200 Scales and 100 Blizzardium are nice. The Units and Weapons are the main goal tho.
My kaizar is superior.
Floors 1-6 are completely pointless. You fight a single boss that will take seconds to kill and you will get event weapons and a few materials. It will take longer for the mission to start than it will take to complete. Nobody is going to rerun these lower levels just for 3 materials. It's effectively dead on arrival.
Also, a bit off topic, but why do we have to wait 40 seconds for each run to start in everything in this game? With the time it takes to matchmake and the time it takes to actually start a quest, you're building up a lot of wasted time. I know this existed in base PSO2 too, but it was annoying then as well. If the reason is to let players prepare, then players should get ready before loading up the quest. It's an unnecessary inconvenience. Remember jumping into a quest and just playing with a bunch of other players? no waiting, just jump in and play. Great, wasn't it?
Back to the Ordinal Tower. Floor 7, kill 3 enemies, done. Rewards? the usual, disappointing. So far, I have not seen a single weapon drop other than more outdated event weapons, so feel free to correct me if you have seen anything else drop. The enemies are Bujin, Kelkundo and Ams, and two secret enemies that require you to kill 2 of the 3 enemies above to fight. Those enemies are Vardias and Frostyl. No new enemies, just fight the same enemies we have fought 500 times already. Every run it's the same enemies and same tired layout they have been using for every thing that doesn't involve the open world. Other rewards are basically the same augments you will get from farming a few minutes in any level 60+ combat zone.
Let's go back to the rewards. Any item actually worth grinding for, like the Obsidia series weapons, are tied to titles. You literally just need to complete Floor 7 with each class once, with a score of 12,000 or higher (which is VERY easy) to get every single Obsidia weapon......and that's it, no reason to touch this content ever again. Complete once with each class and never touch the content again.
When they announced this, players (probably unwisely at this point) actually thought they were getting a proper boss rush. Kill one boss, move to next floor of the tower and fight an even harder boss, and on and on and on, getting tougher and tougher. They could mix it up and throw a Veteran, Metalotix, Enhanced boss and Gigantix in the mix, with an increased chance of getting good rewards for each kill. Maybe throw in a rare chance of a Captan spawning on one of the floors. Then, the final floor, you get a new boss that is exclusive to the Ordinal Tower with it's own weapon series. Maybe the final boss could drop a new series of weapons for the Geo lab, seeing as the Kukuhroziat weapons are way out of date at this point. Maybe it's own exclusive set of cosmetics too. But no, as usual, Sega went as unimaginative as they could go, which will likely result in the Ordinal Tower being dead within in a few weeks.
I'm done being annoyed with this game, we should just laugh at this point, it's much less depressing that way. I don't know how anybody can defend it at this point. One of the most bizarre developments of a game I have ever seen.
So I understand everything you said and I agree with but you see if they did that they would end up killing all other grind spot, people would stop going to farm in 60+ area, egg and other places, dont get me wrong I hate what they are doing but its already to late to try and save this when stia is so close, so I want then to focus on stia and make something cool there, and look this update was "already in game", lets hope that after Sonic Phantasy Sega bring back more DEVs to the PSO2 team!
