the battle power requirements are so stupid and so is the EXP reduction when defeating enemies 5 levels below you, I just got to level 40 and guess what, my battle power is too low to enter level 40 combat zones , the strugments drop very rarely and I wasn't able to collect enough for even one Arms Refiner and I don't want to rely on other players simply to progress. that's the problem with NGS - despite being open-world it constantly tells you where you have to go and where you can't go, it's so much more limited than in base PSO2

BP was implemented to encourage players to actually put effort into getting stronger instead of leeching. You are lucky you are not in jp, they don't take very kindly to leeches even in base pso2. Concerning the arms refiners and the strugments to craft them, honestly the drop rates for them are decent and you can grind them in multiple areas. Arms refiners are dropped by enemies but are indeed rare. If you spend an hour or 30 minutes grinding you can easily stack up and obtain strugments. If your feeling lazy, buy them in the player market. They are cheap now a days since there is so much supply and low demand for them. You don't have to have the best gear to clear and do content. Just using the event elemental weapon which they give for free is good enough. At the end of the day this is a mmorpg, you can solo if you want to. However, that would be very inefficient and anti social. Other players are what breath life into the game, there are plenty of nice people you will come across who would be more then willing to help you. And there are plenty of trouble makers as well. I would say the developers have been very generous towards returning players and newbies a like this time around, it's very easy to just hop right in.

I think they gave away more than 5 arm refiners until now.
If you complete your weekly quests you can buy at least x3 arm refiners from the market.

Turns out, going to touch sparkly beacons in the exploration zones/listening to Rappy sing is too much for some people.

Listen, if this current tier of progress is too difficult for you I highly recommend a different game. Consider games that have group content as an optional function, games that require group content usually have a "roadblock" you need to pass.

How'se getting top gear just by farming a limited time event for 2 hours is a chore, but getting x3 Klauz units, Klauz weapon, upslotting up to 8 augments, +20 your rings, combine x2 rings into a more powerfull one, farm or buy your photon arts + level them up to 18 your, level up your classes up to 100 is not a chore.

Buddy, I spent my time farming all class to 45, half way through my 2nd class to reach 45, I already got full set of +50 equipment, and by the time I done with all class I got 40 Arm Refiner total and still counting way
But yeah, the whole game need to you spend time on a limited event as the only source of Arm Refiner

This game have issues with the lack of contents, instead of that you specially you choose this hill to die on

Thats exactly the reason why i opened another thread regarding the topic of what is seen as bannable offense in that regard which certain people dont seem to take serious.

I mean i can switch weapons to bypass BP requirements and then using my weaker weapon. Best example would be Bow Braver right now. There is no shadow element Box but a +40 Katana you can use to bypass content you cant enter with your current Bow.

So is that malicous behavior ? I mean i am just using what Sega gave me to work with and i am not bypassing any bugs or something. Also if its not intended that we do this why not fix it after a year ? I mean if every player who did this gets banned now at this very moment....the game would be dead ....fact. Even if you just did it to level up faster you did it no arguing.

So far no one have been banned for that at the moment (or at least I know of) in NGS, but JP side did have them in the pasts in pso2 I think, so no way to know what their criteria is. But compared to your case, going with at least minimum that isn't too far from the minimum requirement vs the extreme case of OP said above for the entire quest, it's quite obvious which one is the violation of TOS and deserve the ban fully

This is just my opinion, so I don't really know how Sega gonna handled it, or how the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of management of Global gonna handled it here
