Costume Remakes and why I quit PSO2
With the launch of new genesis sega decided to hold a survey. In this survey they asked players to vote which costumes they would like UPDATED for new genesis. Overall the results were accepted by the community and we all looked forward to it. However, when the first set of costumes were "updated" they instead decided they were actually going to sell them. Now for JP servers this can be argued (Albeit poorly) that since most of these costumes were out for years sega was justified in trying to recoup money for the extra effort to remake these old costumes. For US Players however this is not the case as new genesis came out a little more than a year after US launch. So for players like me who spent a large amount of money to reach AC bonus goals, to buy EVERY CAST PART (Yes every single one minus 2 or 3 SG ones) the fact that I was now being told to buy the SAME COSTUME AGAIN was a bit much. I spend close to 2000 usd on pso2 from launch until NGS and I have not played since the launch of NGS. Sega blew almost all of its good will with me in regards to monetization ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

TL;DR: I'm quit because I'm not paying to reroll my cast parts less than 2 years after I bought them. There isn't a point to this post I'm just venting feel free to skip.

You get free sg tickets and hundreds of free sg each month to get free outfits and accessories, sg for liking ppls lookbooks daily, events that give you hundreds more on almost a monthly basis, sg any time theres a server issue, sg from just logging in for the day, and sg weekly from the casino and the challenge missions in base. How are you having issues with sg with all these options. Also if you haven't played since the launch of ngs why are u still complaining about the game.

they are free gacha and the majority of the community voted for it aswell.

the only resold ones were the base costumes NGS version now costing AC, and you didnt buy any base costumes in base.

To get enough sg tickets to guarantee all parts is a multimonth process. Or you can just buy SG tickets. I shouldn't have to work for something I already bought.

They have a tendency to mess up the remaked outfits, anyway.

I'm clueless on this topic but doesn't SG scratch costume/part eventually becomes attainable through mission pass?

Which one did they ruin?
The N-Viola Magica has the wrong color slot set up for color coordination, and several outfits that were unisex, such as the Persona Replica, were only remade for a single gender. There was another one I can't remember the name of that was missing a part.

No it is not. I scratched 50 times for the Etoile parts and I already have 3082 SG again, enough for 60 more pulls.
All it takes is PLAYING THE GAME.

Also you bought the PSO2 costumes, not the NGS versions.

Not the same. You're getting these for free if you play the game.

EDIT: Oh and they also give you a free pick ticket from the free mission pass.
It's not the same. Even though they use the same launcher. An updated engine. Literally the same steam page so they can piggy back off the reviews and good will of the original. Eat ♥♥♥♥ shill.

Then give me a game to play first.

Its true that SG is easy enough to obtain when youre a poor soul with nothing else to do other than playing this......"game". I mean my SG are refilling all over again with each SG Scratch so yeah i can confirm how easy it is to get them when youre du mp sh*t crazy.

However.
Dont use your crazyness as an argument towards others. Not everyone can handle the deep ocean of sh*t that is Sega. Let alone play this as an actual main game.

An updated engine that also broke the graphics of the base game.

New Genesis should'nt have been tied to PSO2 honestly...

Without that NGS would look even worse then it already does.

Why would it look worse?

Also in fact NGS could've been more evolved if it wasn't reusing many assets from Online 2.

Nah. I still mostly use base game cosmetics because they tend to have a better aesthetic.
None of the NGS-spec character creation items looked appealing at all in the character creator demo.
