*Not responding* need help

I downloaded PSO2 NGS the other day after waiting a year to see how it did here in the US. At any rate, I couldn't get it to launch. After checking files (redownloading much to mu surprise) and rebooting it just started working. Played about 14 hours and didn't have a problem. Today I had to take my laptop to a clients to finish up their website. Came home, set up my dock again, now I can't seem to play again. I get the "Not Responding" every time I go from the launcher into the game. I have tried playing full screen, windowed, etc...

I have a MSI gl65 Leopard 10sfk-062
Intel i7-10750H
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8gig
64 gigs ram
NvME m.2
Win 10 Pro

I have tried reinstalling, updating, rebooting, closing discord on startup, turning off my firewall (fix for PSU fun fact), disabling and unplugging my Wacom and Huion, making my laptop screen 1, only playing on the laptop, but nothing seems to work.

Do you fine folks have any idea? I tried google, searching the forums, etc... I can always try downloading from sega and just getting rid of steam from the mix but I don't think I can import my toon without logging in here.

Want to play, but man is this hard. Has to be a setting, playing way more graphic and processor intensive games at max setting. Temp may spike to 90deg C but plays them like a champ. When it worked yesterday it barely touched my hardware. Cant seem to find error logs that are telling me whats blocked/crashing or not loading.

Install tweaker since it's capable of installing missing files (not fully redownloading like Steam lmao). Then join their Discord channel for an actual responsive tech support bot/users. This game is too sensitive with third party Antivirus or programs and requires a lot of workarounds.

For reference, the now deleted official forum has someone complaining that his XP pen drivers were conflicting with Game guard.

Might wanna check if you installed something when you met up with your client.

And for another reference, a small number of us were unable to solve that Not Responding errors, until today, the moment we got hit with them.

Thanks Ill look into tweaker. And pretty sure I did not install anything at my clients, as i left my laptop turned off in the car and just did updates on my Tab7+. As for your last paragraph this appears to be a common thing that people were hit with?

Significant enough to be visible in the forums since beta but INSIGNIFICANT enough to be ignored by Sega and most of your fellow players.

It is baffling to see someone (another user
from deleted pso2 forum) experience the Not Responding error from his laptop, quit for three months, come back to an bnew RTX desktop and get welcomed by the exact same error?

Been happening for since Beta, which I ignored. Then I got hit by it in September and continued to become an unplayable mess ever since.

Keep the Windows reinstall as last resort till you managed to exhaust all the "unofficial" Discord can offer you.

Spent 4 hours working with discord. Real nice person! But ran out of ideas. Guess this ends my PS days. Started with PS on the master system in the 80s, then 2, 3, 4, on genasis. then pso on dreamcast. Then psu on PS2/computer. Bought a ps3/4 and vita to play PSO2 and it never came. Bought a nice laptop, upgraded everything, to play this. Heard it was bad at release but enjoyable now. But maybe after 37 years it's time to give Phantasy Star up. PS4 is still the best RPG I ever played. Oh well, get old and get passed by I guess. But thanks for your help @x2dZ, at least I gave it the old "cartridge blow" to try and revive it.

Bro today i went in UQ and the whole game didn't let me to respond.
I couldn't use the chat, i couldn't ALT + F4, i could see the people running around me but the only way to deal with this situation was to close the game via the task manager.
You know what's funny?
People typed in chat "report Prokaizer for being AFK in Urgent Quest".
Like i need the 10.000 meseta to risk to get banned, when my character has 2.100+ BP and my account has over 1.000 hours lol.

I had to record > upload > chat with some people > take screenshot.
Of course time passed.
Heck in games like League people report you for just picking the champion you know how to play, instead of the champion they want you to play.
Players do not tolerate anything at all these days.

Xp that explains the timeline then but yeah I do agree with you people now are pretty impatient tho I'm glad iv never run into people like that. Atleast I haven't in pso2 yet
