In the other hand NGS level cap is only 45 and players were theorizing that NGS may have a level cap of 200 which sounds crazy as its double than Base PSO2's level cap.
Although I expected Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis to be grindy since the series as a whole was a grind... we all KNOW the series is all about grind.
What you experienced was the catch up mechanic including the "Sorry" giveaways and not the experience every player experienced when Base PSO2 was a new game. We all grinded...
I'm sure you can deal with possibly 7 to 12 days grinding your classes from level 1 to 45, your not missing much anyways. xD
I just wish leveling was fun again like Base PSO2 with those emergency codes you encounter sometimes those were better than Trials in NGS in my opinion.
My biggest issue was the Battlepower that is complete NONSENSE! Its preventing players who have skill and gaming experience from doing content that they CAN do but the game tells them they can't do it... and once you have that Battlepower the game is too easy...
Well to be fair the community asked for something like this because we couldnt stand the Stigma Weapon trolls anymore. So we should be careful what we ask Sega. Remember asking for PSE Burst "One Mores" ? Yeah full inventory and the solution is being sold for cash but we had to ask didnt we ?
We should be careful what we wish for Sega isnt kidding.
With the Stigma weapon issue is another reason I didn't like the time limit in urgent quests.
But I guess we do have to be careful what we wish for since Sega can make what sounds like a decent idea become a miss without us saying the finer details which is commonly absent like we expected Sega to understand. I keep forgetting its Sega after all so I forgot to add finer details about why its an idea...
SEGA operates like a monkeyspaw. You try to as clearly as you can explain what you want and then SEGA will find anything it can in your wording to mess it up. Obviously im kidding and the real issue is just that SEGA wants to make as minimal changes as it can to appease whales just enough to scratch. It reminds me of the whole "Fremium games" bit from South Park.
If you wanna power level to 45, run yellow triggers until 20, get to retem and do sidequests whatnot. Should get you to around 27~28. Buy around 40~60 ret yellow triggers and spam ret yellows until 30. Alnothe until 31. Now you just PSE grind until 45. Vanford R2 from 31-36 and Alnothe R2 36-45. I'd say it'll take you maybe a week or two from casual grinding with UQs here and there.
Though you're not missing much. Unless you really wanna prep for the next region coming in June, It's all barebones content currently so don't rush yourself.
