why not introduce it as an intrinsic feature rather than charge for it for it with SG as well, if they're too keen on giving it to us dirt cheap like it's almost free in that juncture.
The answer would be cuz it's also a prem feature, they know they'd get heavier backlash if they don't sell it separately.
And that's the problem with prem, you don't have to buy it to get a certain advantage from it which devalues it to an extent.
I haven't seen a developer so confused on how to monetize their game and I haven't seen such feature sold in other games.
It's ironic too since they are doing a big stance against leechers at the same time though there game is designed for you to stand still after a certain amount of bursts and go to your inventory and perform tedious selecting actions that either should be automated or not happen in the first place while possibly leeching during that time depending where you are standing.
Yeah, something that should be a very very basic feature is paywalled behind a sub... Meanwhile the subscription has nothing really worthwhile going for it, so they add this thing as if it'll get people to pile on with buying it. Premium sub doesn't have free color changing, free skill resets, you still have to grind your butt off for all mats, ores, still have to pay the same as everyone else for all scratches.. Yeah.
This is pretty sad, Sega.
Why not put the system of PSO2, that to collect only the rare items ?
it's really annoying to have to stop every 5 seconds because the inventory fills up with sh.t every time.
The discussion, at least that I feel, is more that this was a heavily-requested feature from players and Sega reveals the solution as being a potentially paid-for option. I can imagine many players already playing will be able to afford it (as it the same case with Material Storage which is a major quality-of-life change that costs either in-game time to have the currency for or real money for people who don't have the time/means to get that in-game currency) - but it's another case of Sega doing as Sega does especially with regards to player feedback.
On the other side, numerous players have expressed concerns about wanting more "Premium Perks" and this seems like such easy advertising for that to make Premium relevant in New Genesis.
Being that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb should be a criminal offense.
They're not selling a perk but a solution to a problem they created. But premium in a game that already have gambling loot boxes shouldn't even be a thing in the first place, they want their cake and eat it too.
