Done.
2 days ago, I manged to launch the game. I didn't do anything different from usual.
What I noticed is, when I start the game from steam to get the Launcher menu screen. Steam shows you that your are playing the game to you and your friends. Mine kept on saying the game i am playing (Even though it's on launcher menu screen).
The game no longer works btw.
My problem is that when my endless cycle of starting the game. Steam only shows for 2 seconds that I am playing PSO2, before returning back to normal.
I haven't installed the game from the original web-sight.
I haven't formated my device (I will not do it for just a game).
I haven't used the Tweaker since the devs aren't supporting it.
I basically tried most of options that I know of, I was even a dumbass to try to play the game on windows safe mode.
I sent the devs an email 4 days ago, they did ask from something and it might take a "lengthy time".
I don't even know how I managed to play the game that one time 2 days ago. Nothing, literally nothing I did different from what every day I try. I even attempted to re-play the game the same day (2 days ago), it didn't work.
Steam is attempting to optimize the game. Why? IDK.
I remembered that another game I have didn't work more than 4 min of play time before crashing on my gaming Laptop. The devs solved the issue after a month of digging info, by getting themselves a laptop and did their technical stuff that it finally worked.
- Probably don't do that. I'm not even sure format would make a difference.
- As far as I know from my experience with the Tweaker, it should be okay to use anyway because its only main purpose is to help people install the game and help run the game properly. There's no actual hack that revolve around it and its been reliable tool since PSO2 first release. But if you still feel as though you don't want to use it, its fine.
Anyway, did you ever try to run the game without that 7th Knight software on? There's been some case involve with anti-wares like Avast that can block games for some reason. Some detection can occur like that if it assumes a game has a virus or something.
Steam itself is where I think the problem should be. It wants to launch the game in an optimized parameter. This game is the only game in my life so far that is doing this sort of situation.
Its like you are going to a bar, despite having a beard and mustache, and 9 Meters tall (Jokingly). The bouncer still asks for ID to verify your age.
I never thought about it before. When uninstalling steam. will I be forced to uninstall all my steam programmes first?
I am 99% sure I will not have to do that. But the 1%...it scares me. Just clarification
Be sure to clear download cache first before you uninstall. This link will help you quick on how to do it.

This is the best option i can offer you if you really want to play PSO2. So it's up to you.
follow this tutorial, worked for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkLXBWEufdg&ab_channel=N0sSyndrome
So, is the system a laptop or pre-built PC? (Like a refurbed office Dell or something.)
Also, Steam attempting to run the game with any launch options is strange indeed. I haven't known any game to do this unless the game client somehow TELLS Steam to do it.
That being said, if you right-click on the game in your library, poke around and find the launch options.. is anything there? If so, remove it.. and try again. Chances are it'll do the same thing(s), but let's test that and see if it refills the launch option field with that same nonsense.
If it does, I may know why.
I have both Wallpaper engine and Gmod workshops subscribed items. It will take more than a month to download them again (Individually). Not to mention this game with 70+ GB.
I hope it does fix the solution

I don't get an error message at all. Its just that my game guard doesn't activate. Steam doesn't show me that I am playing the game only for 2-3 seconds. One thing that I am curious about from the video is at 1:33 mark, I don't have the _CommonRedist folder.

Nothing out of the ordinary in the launch options. Just like the rest of my games. Especially my other game with similar mechanics that have a launcher before starting the game, which is Digimon Masters online. I don't have any problems with it.
Either by cheer luck, or every 60 - 80 attempts of launching the game, can make it work.
