Switching from norm to NG
So I basically lose everything I worked for? What was the point and how do I go back?
I did NOT know by any means this would ♥♥♥♥ up my whole account and I have 40+ hours in with nothing to show for it now? Any recompense?

What exactly do you mean? If you mean you played one game and not the other, know that both games have separate progress. You can move back and forth between NGS and PSO2. When you pick your character in the select screen, you get prompted to either go to PSO2 or NGS. And even if you are in game, you can move from one game to the other by using block transfer.

Wth... why make it so convoluted just to go back? Thanks though...

I suppose the reason was because of previous backlash against PSO2's new player experience, which apparently left many players confused. So now they want to throw in some level of hand holding so you know at least all of the basics (given people actually read the small mountain of text, at least), considering some new people will join without any PSO2 progress at all.
