Let's talk about skill resets
Okay, I've been playing PSO2 since its NA release, and this has always been a rather strong point of contention for me, but why am I forced to either; 1. try builds on multiple characters and hope I get it right. 2. wait for a skill reset pass, as rare as they are, or 3. BUY(for about $5.00, per tree, just for one class) another skill tree "slot" so I can try a different build/fix the build I have?
I tried a fighter skill, it doesn't work well with how I play, I want to move ONE skill point into something else to better fit my build, and you want me to pay money for that? Christ, even WoW had this down years ago, even before they let you switch builds for free they let you pay with IN GAME CURRENCY.
In a game that has about as much content as a wet napkin(just talking NGS), you could at least let us experiment with class skills without trying to ring us dry of our money. It's Sega after all, just make another Yakuza game and you'll rake in enough profits to fund this dumpster fire for another year or two.

You only need to buy one additional skill tree. You can later move the old tree to another class, which resets the tree. Moving only costs SG (100) and is therefore obtainable free to play. So, only a one-time real-money purchase is necessary. Also, you can be sure that you will get a reset pass every time the skill tree is changed. And that will likely happen with each level cap increase.
sounds like a roundabout exploit that SEGA don't even bother with really. That's some weird clunky and desperate way to get it working. If only.. just if only.. this game actually puts more effort into appeasing players

Resetting skills should never ever cost money. SEGA is getting more than enough with premium/material storage and scratches. It's just greed .

Well since sega gives skill reset tickets out when the release a new class just make an alt since you get one per character and there's a new class coming soon so there's that

keep in mind that whenever they hand out skill reset passes, it's to all characters on your account. Make 2 more alts on the same ship, and when they give one out, you'll have 3 saved up.

in a game which you can't even sell your items without paying, of course resetting skills have to be paid :summer2019corgi:

Yeah that's one thing I'll never ever defend Sega over. Giving us one chance at skills, then hiding resets behind single tree additions for $ or making us wait for new content for a free reset is just absurd. I wouldn't feel half as bad if we could at least purchase them, but I'm sure they'd lose out on additional tree sales if they did that...

I mean they already gave us one and a new class is coming soon just make two alts and when the new class comes youll get 3 skill resets for free without spending a dime

It's no exploit as it's a valid use case to move skill trees around as there are also reasons to have more than one additional tree, like having different trees for main and sub class usage.

See it from SEGA's standpoint. There have to be some incentives to make people purchase stuff. It's really not necessary to have multiple trees, especially if you have a fixed main/sub class combination and stick with it because you simply like it best. It's the same with the store usage as a seller. Most people only buy stuff but if you want to sell, you have to pay for it. All these mechanics have no effect on your actual gameplay. When it comes to classes everyone gives you one important piece of advice: Spend your skill points only when you know what you're doing. Otherwise spend five bucks to correct your mistakes.
Sorry but there are many other f2p mmos that had proven the case that skill reset DO NOT need to be paid to justify them earning income for hosting the game. This is really just outdated "pay to use" cash grab from a decade ago when MMOs all tried to milk their players as much as possible out of every single mechanic. MMOs are pretty a dying genre now, such old models are just seen to be scum moves really. Look at maplestory, skill reset used to be a scum move as well, as time goes by Nexon added ways to rectify that, because they know if they don't they won't be able to retain/attact new generation of players.

Everyone got a free skill reset when NGS started. it should have been in your mailbox.
